We stopped at a donut shop on our spring break road trip and I got a circus animal donut - not Bavarian cream... but it was filled with the BEST whipped cream and topped with crushed circus animal cookies. Might be my favorite donut ever

There is a little Mennonite bakery within walking distance of home.. everything even the Bavarian cream is made from scratch.. and the best egg and bacon bread... amazing toasted with lots of Irish butter

There is a bar in my area that serves a lunch special everyday, on Fridays they have different burgers, one they call the kitchen sink. It has eggs, bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese and they use two glazed donuts that they grill for the bun

French "West Indies" Toast

Slices of your favorite banana bread

Soaked thoroughly in:

1cup whole milk (not cream) for every 2 large eggs beaten, 1tablespoon vanilla, 1teaspon each: allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, 1 jigger dark spiced rum. Whisked until frothy.

Bake in 350° for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Sautee in salted butter both sides on low heat until brown.

Drizzle with dark rum and top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and for orgasmic experience top with
Optional:

Sliced bananas softened in brown butter (1tablespoon per 2 bananas)and add 1 Tablespoon of brown sugar for every banana in addition to a pinch of cinnamon and allspice until carmalized. Follow with splash of rum and serve hot.
