Guacamole Recipe for you beautiful souls

5-6 Avacados
5-7 Roma tomaties (chopped)
3/4 - 1 White onion (chopped)
3-5 Serranos or Jalapenos (chopped) OPTIONAL
3-4 Limes (Lemons work too but you'll notice a different taste)
1 Cilantro bunch (Large)

In a large bowl, toss in the avacados and, using a fork, mash them just shy of being a spread.

Toss in the chopped onions and squeeze in the lemons. Don't worry about salt and pepper until the end. Gently mix the avacados and onions so the lime can work itself through it all.

Now, while the lime is doing it's thing, chop the tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro.
Note: With cilantro, make sure is washed well and cut the stems off no more than an inch fromt he last leaf. This will give you more flavor and texture.

With everything chopped, toss it in with the avacados and onions. Gently mix it all together so the tomatoes don't break down so much and the avocados are still not a smooth paste.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

This is a more traditional guacamole compared to the smooth variety you get at restaurants or the store. If you want it creamy, here's how.

----

In a food processor, toss in the avocados, peppers (optional), lime, cilantro, salt and pepper. Blend until a silky smooth consistency. That's it! It's that simple.

Go ahead and try it and please let me know how it comes out!

This is pretty much the exact recipe that I got when doing a guacamole making class at a Mexican restaurant in Boston. So much better with slightly chunky avocado!

Or if you want the fast & dirty version (not that this one takes long) - get some fresh pico de gallo salsa and add mushed up avocado.

That's exactly it!

You can play around with the onions - red gives it a slightly sweeter taste. Swap jalapenos for serranos or serranos for habanero for that little extra kick.

Different tomatoes have a slightly different acidity and also change the flavor.

You are a wonder woman….

Quick and Simple Carne Asada Recipe

Carne Asada

5 lbs of thin cut flank steak
3 white onions (cut in large sections)
3 cilantro bunches (cleaned and uncut)
10-15 limes
1 Lawry's Meat Seasoning or this one. Worst case scenario - salt and pepper
12-pk of Corona beer (different beers will give it a different taste - avoid Dos X. Lol

This recipe is real simple, easy, and really rich in flavor.

Take the meat and pat it down. Let it rest, covered, for about half an hour.

Grab a deep tray where you'll be making the marinade. On another tray, gently dust the meat (both sides) with the meat seasoning. Place a full later in the deep tray and squeeze a few limes over the meat.

Add a thin layer of onion a cilantro.

Add another layer of meat and repeat until all 5 lbs are done. Cover it and place in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

Take the cover off and gently add the beer via a corner. Don't wash the seasoning off the meat!

Add a little more meat seasoning, cover and place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to let the marinade do it's thing.

When you're ready to grill it (you can use a griddle (think Blackstone) but the flavor will be different compared to charcoal or propane), gently remove the top layer of cilantro and onions (don't toss the onions).

Place the meat on the grill on med-high heat depending on steak thickness. The thinner the steak, the faster it will sear. Once seared, place the meat in another container with a lid. Cover the cooked meat while you sear the rest.

Before you finish grilling, toss in the onions and grill them along with some jalapenos as sides.

Boom! A quick, simple, carne asada! Warm up some corn tortillas, chop the meat, and you got tacos! Add a little guac or make your own salsa to add!

Warm up some flour tortillas, add a little red rice and meat and boom! Burritos!

Try it out!

You say quick and easy but for a non-cooking person like myself, I think that would take all day!! 😳 The only solution is I come to visit and you make it for me :D 🤣

Chica, my door is always open to you and the rest of the ladies!

Gentlemen? Ahem, I think it would be a little difficult to explain you there. But if you show up just be ready for the Kumite :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

So, have any of you (ladies) received panties?
Like, new, as a gift .... not worn by him 🙄
He gifted me a turquoise corset, thong with matching stockings and garter for our 20th anniversary. He paid attention to a pair of new heels I bought that I wanted to wear for our anniversary dinner and made the attempt to buy a matching lingerie set. It wasn't anywhere near matching but that he did that was soooooo yum!

I should have clarified... maybe, from yoir lot crush....

But I love the gifts! Corsets are sexy

I’m on the something he’s worn train, but what if… you got something from this person you’ve never met in person before and don’t like how they smell? 😳
Full stop - scent is very powerful. If it tackles my nose instead of tickling it, chances are it's a no-go for me!

But I'm married and I'm dead inside so there's that. :ROFLMAO:
