FYI, I am done with roof inspection and the gutters. So the two most treacherous tasks for the day are complete. Unless I can think of something else ....

Definitely! My vacation was interrupted by a death in the family so yesterday was a funeral.Today I'm spending time with extended family members before they travel home. I was hoping to be lazy and worthless for one last day.

Can't I have one vacation without a death or a four day war between two nuclear bomb wielding countries? sigh

Thank you. Didn't want to be a downer, but I would love to have a calm, normal vacation. My Aunt wants to go on a cruise next year and I'm afraid it will be The Poop Cruise II, the Poop-ening.

I keep debating if I will turn the furnace back on because I broke down last week and turned on the a/c one night. Now it’s a matter of principle that I don’t want it back on. It’s 64 degrees in my house. But supposed to warm up again tomorrow.

I had to turn the a/c on last week too, but our brick building holds heat so well that I thought I was going to have to open the windows for a little while yesterday. It was 50F/10C outside and still 71F/22C in the house. And it’s just now down to 70F this morning. I also feel like keeping the heat turned off from here on out is a matter of principle. But I don’t see our apartment getting down to 64F either.

Considering British pissed is drunk, instead of angry like America pissed, yes, you can definitely be dodgy while pissed! Though I guess it works for either version...

And yet somehow during a series of drunk texts I chose to use pissed for drunk and confused the hell out of our Anglo friends. Americans don't shock ne when I use a word they don't understand.

If you find any bees nests I don’t recommend putting a ladder under the nest and spraying….saw that yesterday on Instagram. It didn’t go well.
