The Cozy Corner

The packing is hardly my concern. The did I do X is what haunts me for the first three days of any trip

Did I turn off the coffee maker?
Did I close the garage door?

And so on
Understandable and I have certain “routines” I must do so I know I did it. The did I close the garage door is a daily morning thing. Nothing extreme.

Plus my mom and sister will be at my house a few times daily to feed and check on my cats. So I can text my sister and say did I do this please double check.

Even things I do daily I still have incessant worries about. Once I had my sister drive across town to check just in case.
This is so relatable. My pretrip routine is also a bit of a meticulous ritual now. 😅
I take pictures now so I have visual proof I did the things that worry me so

My Clint Eastwood movies….

Unforgiven was a classic but not my favorite

The Outlaw Josey Wales was one of my favorite westerns but my Dad and I have watched many westerns. High Noon was my Dad’s favorite.

Million Dollar Baby was one I watched when I took boxing lessons. But it made me cry so I can’t watch the ending. I absolutely loved Danger Barch.

Alcatraz may be my all time favorite Eastwood movie. At least as far as the amount of times I’ve watched it.

Gran Torino is a bit like my Grandfather, rough but lovable.

If Eastwood ever tried to give me a hickey it would Make My Day.
