The Cozy Corner

My Clint Eastwood movies….

Unforgiven was a classic but not my favorite

The Outlaw Josey Wales was one of my favorite westerns but my Dad and I have watched many westerns. High Noon was my Dad’s favorite.

Million Dollar Baby was one I watched when I took boxing lessons. But it made me cry so I can’t watch the ending. I absolutely loved Danger Barch.

Alcatraz may be my all time favorite Eastwood movie. At least as far as the amount of times I’ve watched it.

Gran Torino is a bit like my Grandfather, rough but lovable.

If Eastwood ever tried to give me a hickey it would Make My Day.
I see what you did there. Very nice. 😏

I have no interest in high school style hickies.
That said, I am a fan of a small mark left somewhere the general public can't see. I like having a little something that reminds me of our encounter for a couple of days. And the idea of being marked or claimed arouses the primal part of me.

But can he read his own penmanship? There was a debate.
😉😘 @Dayhoosier

I'm like Spider-Man but for penmanship and calligraphy. I sensed that keyword and came right back. Also my new inks JUST arrived as I'm writing this post.

Re: hickies. Yeah I think that seems to be the thread consensus. The idea of being marked is nice but preferably somewhere a bit more discreet. I'm the same. Tho nothing that rough to leave a mark lately, personally speaking. Must have been exciting for them, throws of passion, new love, new explorations. Fortunately neither of them have public facing roles but she was definitely a little sheepish/embarrassed about them. 😅

For me it's usually three pairs. Street sneakers, dress shoes for nicer places and running shoes. Climbing shoes as well if there's a place with a wall or bouldering gym.
I'm sensing a theme here
climbing shoes
running shoes
@Shenanigans90 mentioned golf shoes

I drink on patios... all I need is flip flops

Watching 2nd OT period of the Ottawa/Carolina game and I need to get my final amount of steps on before midnight. What to do, what to do.

Singing along to this. Apparently the Artemis II astronauts chose this song to wake up to on their first day of mission. Incredible choice since I've always had a soft spot for it.
