The struggle is real for me.

I will not admit how many shirts I’ve packed for 5 days to go to breakfast because I’ll be in a swimsuit all day (eat lunch at the pool or beach) and put a sundress on for dinner.

I make a list days before. Depends on my travel, golf trip days before as lots to bring and very weather depending. Simple trips day before. I rarely overpack.

Im so ashamed at my slacking after reading this. Toiletry bag check. How many days am I gone? 5? OK. 1,2,3 4 5 shirts. Repeat process for socks underwear and pants.

That's how I pack for National Park trips!
x days - bike shorts
x days - oversized t-shirts
x days - socks
x days - emotional support tank tops

I spend far more time packing snacks for those trips!

Now I will say if I know im flying....I wear my running arm bag which holds the ID and cards. I wear sweatpants or shorts that don't need a belt and sandals or no lace shoes. Zero in my pockets ....in and out of the security line

I generally do a max of two pairs of shoes per trip. Though I think I only had two when going to Puerto Rico because it was January and I couldn’t go to the airport in flip flops.

Of course depends on what the trip’s for - if I’m going to a special occasion, there might be as many as three!

Yep, I have my white sneakers I keep for travel so they are clean and not broke down. Then depending on where I am going beach and hot: pool sandals, Birks (because they are tried and true) plus two cute sandals for dinner. Now I’ve 4 days to ruminate if I only take one pair.

Here’s the silly thing~~ road trip with mom- less shoes. Make it make sense! I have more room and I take less stuff!

Jarring change of topic but I wanted to tell a story from bouldering last night.

For a bit of context, two of the people in my bouldering group grew close and recently got into a romantic relationship. They are 25 and 26, the age sorta matters for this story I promise. They're so happy, mature and stable so far and the group is very happy for them. We love celebrating their love.

Being the cheesy and romantic people they are, they planned a midnight picnic on a small island to celebrate their 6 month mark (I know right). They almost had to stay on the island because they were close to missing the last ferry! The kicker is that, the girl showed up to bouldering with hickies ALL over her neck so the class definitely knew what happened during that picnic and why they almost missed the ferry.

"I take it the picnic went well then?"

Ah, young love, you love to see it. What's Cozy's thoughts on hickies? IMO, I wouldn't want one as it wouldn't look very professional on Zoom but the idea of one sounds pretty sexy; being marked by someone. Do you still give/receive hickies? My last one was like... 2019?

I have no interest in high school style hickies.
That said, I am a fan of a small mark left somewhere the general public can't see. I like having a little something that reminds me of our encounter for a couple of days. And the idea of being marked or claimed arouses the primal part of me.
