It's really not that bad. And the techs have always been so efficient, kind, and just made the whole process easier, every place I've been. A little discomfort for a quick bit and then you're done.

I always make my appointments on Tuesday so I can post in TT as a reminder to everyone to get them checked!

I recommend, if you can, going somewhere like a breast care center at a hospital. They usually have a number of staff members dedicated to screening mammograms. All my appointments have started on time, or even early, because the techs aren’t having to potentially repeat imaging following radiologist review for patients who are there for breast cancer rechecks. Before I started going to a breast care center, I would routinely have wait times of 30-60 minutes. But that’s just my experience.
