I need to reread some of my posts before I submit. I have some major typos going on this morning. Maybe I do need more sleep after all?

Funny, i wake up with a “I just want to crawl back under the covers and hibernate for a month” feeling lolTea and attending to your feet could be time well spent. it is all a matter of perspective.
I am a creature of habit. After years of sports and early obligations, I wake up with a "must get something done" feeling.
It does seem like people fall into one of two camps: Stay in bed or get up and get going.Funny, i wake up with a “I just want to crawl back under the covers and hibernate for a month” feeling lol
Good morning cozians.
Im off to shower - sans coffee this time - to try and wash the grit from my eyes.
I had a similar circumstance. Hopefully you will have a good day regardless and possibly find a chance to get some rest.Woke at 4.30. Couldn't get back to sleep by 5.30. Got up.
I used to love to lay in bed… this old body just won’t let me anymoreIt does seem like people fall into one of two camps: Stay in bed or get up and get going.
I haven't seen much middle ground.
No shower coffee this morning?![]()
It seems like early rising and less sleep than usual is the norm for the Coziers this Saturday.Good morning!!
I was up far too early for a Saturday but I’ve got my coffee and I’m ready for a relaxing day
Well it's peak training season so between running, bouldering and tennis there's not really any sleep-ins until September... I get a lot of satisfaction out of it tho.It seems like early rising and less sleep than usual is the norm for the Coziers this Saturday.
Even if it were not peak training season, you don't strike me as a sleep in type.Well it's peak training season so between running, bouldering and tennis there's not really any sleep-ins until September... I get a lot of satisfaction out of it tho.![]()
I’m saving my coffee for when I take back the kiddo for the next shift..‘I wanna make it nice and strong zabaglione style. It does seem like people fall into one of two camps: Stay in bed or get up and get going.

True. The odd occasion when I'm vacay and a big day previous, I'll sleep in until 9:30 latest...Even if it were not peak training season, you don't strike me as a sleep in type.
I don't even sleep in on vacation. I always feel like I am missing out on something, and there is something or somewhere I should be seeing or doing.
That makes perfect sense. I don't drink coffee, so I have no knowledge of the finer points.I’m saving my coffee for when I take back the kiddo for the next shift..‘I wanna make it nice and strong zabaglione style.
Shower coffee is usually quick and dirty, just brew, pour in the creamer and go
Oooh. Let me know how the Zabaglione goes. I love it when you take the time and it turns out exactly how you like it.I’m saving my coffee for when I take back the kiddo for the next shift..‘I wanna make it nice and strong zabaglione style.

Im 99.9% sure it’s not the correct, traditional way to do it.Oooh. Let me know how the Zabaglione goes. I love it when you take the time and it turns out exactly how you like it.
Yes. That seems alright.Im 99.9% sure it’s not the correct, traditional way to do it.
But it’s something a friend’s Italian nonna used to make every single morning and we would spend summers at their retirement community off the beach in Cali and she would make it for us for breakfast - along with fresh squeezed orange juice
I had forgotten all about it until I saw a video last year of someone making their coffee that way.
It’s just an egg yolk creamed with a spoonful-ish of sugar, until it’s custard like, then pour your hot espresso over top and then top with milk or cream
Ciao! Hope you slept well.Morning Coziers![]()
And the smell of petrichor, lingers as the dewdrops catch the light from the ray of dawn...We had thunderstorms move through during the night. The air this morning is so crisp and clean.
