Just made mapo tofu and having that now. My running bestie treated me to a surprise celebration lunch. She's the best. We had lamb shoulder and beef fat potatoes and I treated myself to a lovely orange wine from Campania.

It was decadent and surreal. Wish you could try it... After a big run, it was divine! Don't worry. I showered and changed and suited up.

Listen man it doesn't even matter....I run races that takes days and I only occasionally take a quick shower in the middle....I can handle smell and filth

That's fair but she would have made me turn around and shower and change if I just showed up with my medal post-race. Especially since she was dolled up.

We are going to my dad's, about an hour and a half away, for a cookout. Nothing big or fancy or anything .... Then I have a few hours of coaching appointments later this afternoon
