The "Dreamers" Response

So, I take it, milehighcityman, that you've gotten tired of the last in the series of your white supremacist, Trump Dupe/Dope alts and are opening up a new one to leave the impression that we have more than a couple of despicable political trolls posting to this erotica story Web site discussion board(?)

Not an alt, new member. So explain to me how me wanting to see these Dreamers have a right to stay and an actual path to citizenship under law passed by Congress, not executive order, somehow makes me racist. Trump doesn't give a shit what the press or anyone else thinks of him, so he kicked the chair out from under this mess. He gets blamed, but look what happened; Congress is already moving on the issue.

Congress couldn't manage it before. I'll be surprised if Congress can manage it now.

Congress acting? Ahaha ha ha ha! :D

Mitch and Paul will hem and haw and spout off, but the Rethuglicans will whimper and moan about how they can't DO Anything with the Democrats holding them back. The Freedumb Caucus will whine and bitch and Congress will let the budget slide until they pass a continuing Resolution to kick the can down the road and then they will bitch and moan again for another three months.

I don't accept the premise that you aren't just another alt for one of the white supremacists trolls here. Not that it matters to you, but I'll have to see some reasonable posting from you to assume otherwise. I've seen nothing but hectoring hatred from you so far.

Probably, which will leave Trump to have to back down on the DACA kids status in six months--or extend his "get lost" timing and just leave them in limbo. If, of course, Trump is still in position in sex months.

Trumps order is a gift to Dreamers, even if they refuse to see it that way and the media refuses to cover it that way. President Obama's DACA was never intended to be permanent and even he knew that is was on shaky ground. But, because he had some "something" all political pressure was off the democrats to do anything else. Even back when the democrats controlled both houses and the Presidency, they didn't give amnesty or any path to citizenship. They didn't need to. The plight of these people, who are here illegally, is always at the mercy of political whims. But many states were about to sue Trump to repeal DACA. They would have won, and the Dreamers would have instantly been subject to deportation. So Trump does this, repeals it but with a 6 month grace period. Now Congress HAS to do something because most Americans don't want to see these folks deported. Now the Dreamers will have a step up in status, possibly a path to citizenship, that they NEVER would have had under DACA. Instead of condemning Trump, they should be praising him. Despite all the rhetoric, I don't think Trump personally wants to see these people deported either.
You're right, obviously.

Chances are good he's also Ramone45 (among other alts too weak to post their views to a Web site that's actually relevant to the issues they post about). :D

Dear Lord, stop it. You're making a fool of yourself.
