The Empire Strikes Back (humor)

[*]Pounds are ok, but once we start talking ounces and imperial tons, I'm lost. We measure human weight with pounds over kilograms and measure bovine mass with pounds as that is how the stuff is sold on the markets. But anything else, kilograms please.

Actually, just to be silly one presumes, most Brits I know still measure human mass in stones.

Ahaha, figure THAT one out in Topeka!

(For the record, it's either 13 or 14 pounds - I can never rememeber which).

I am surprised, now that I think of it, that this was not mentioned, but I hope that the invading empire brings with it the sensible numerical date notation that goes day-month-year instead of the very silly American one that always confuses the hell out of me.

I was waiting at dawn but you never showed, so I guess that means I win! Drop the pistols or the alpaca gets it!

Hyde, oh admirable one, not Regents. Just down the road a bit ...

(Quick, Alpaca, kick him hard while he's puzzling over the London A-to-Z!)

16 ounces to the pound. 14 pounds to the stone.

Who decided those figures, anyway?
