Worry not just take care of yourself dear ladyVictoria_2001_02769 said:~ My Darlings, My Dear Ones -
I beg your indulgence. I have been under the weather the last few days - and today is worse than yesterday. I am having chest pains and as a result of that - I can not take deep breaths.
I know I've fallen behind on making comments yet again - and I ask your forgiveness. As soon as I can sit for longer than five minutes at a stretch - I will catch up on them once again. I simply can not sit and comment today.
Yours with love,
Victoria![]()

Thian said:WOLFFEN
A lonely nights painful cry.
A herald to those soon to die.
The gates are barred, the windows sealed.
Trying to stop the Wolffen killed.
Blood spread, like paint on walls of gold.
Taloned prints along shadowed hold.
A growling death thats dark and cold.
The fate that man long did hold.
Silent death stalking its prey.
The holy man dies in utter dismay.
A red satin lined coffin of dark hard wood.
The dark stained grass where the Wolffen stood.
In the shape of man, with the soul of a beast.
The Wolffen smelling a bloody feast.
The late night prayers fuels the power.
Death does come at the witching hour.
The Wolffens cry, the feast begins.
In war and pain began the sin.
The holiest of holys, no longer the bane.
As the wolffen lord opens your vein.
Christ the church now doomed to fail.
The deamon powers released from hell.
Man forgotten in a world of night
.
Never again to see the holy light......Of the Wolffen.....
Another written in my service days. Got a repramand for this one.

It was great to talk to you, even if I didn't do a lot of laughing - like usual.

It was around the campfire that the elders told their tales
As the flickering flames kissed the night sky
The embers crackled and dance to the beating of the drums
The Old Warrior called to the young children
.
Come little ones gather around and listen
for in his tales are treasures of wisdom
from legend of Sitting Bull to the Grandfathers Spirits
all sitting around listening attentively
.
The chants of spiritual incantations
dancing through the ring of fire
As the embers glow softly into the night
as souls are filled with legendary spirits
.
The Elder warrior sits looking into the flames
That guide his vision quest of the nocturnal Spirits home
Sharing the sacred Tales, Dance and chants
of Spirits that roam this night
.
Nestled among the forest
sending visions to the campsite
And assembled throughout the campfire
seeking, searching, telling, listening
.
The Elder Warrior in a trance
as visions, and tales dance, among the nation of the living
from the portals of the past
giving, dedicating, communicating
.
When the new sun breaks the horizon
The campfire Fables are done
The Elder story teller smiles
.
With youthful pledge to return
When the evening holds counsel again
so well The Elder Warrior story teller

I am doing better, my lovlies - slowly - but I still don't sit up for long periods. The pains have lessened and are beginning to subside. I am on a regime of taking 800mg of Ibuprophen and rest.
What caused the pain - and it's a malady that seems to strike a majority of women. The cartiledge at the ends of the ribs - was inflammed. Thus the 'pain' when expanded too far - as when one takes a deep breath or is about to sneeze.
I will be back throughout the day to day and try to catch up on my comments. I was going to comment to Thian the other day - but - the pain was just too much to allow me to sit for long.
Thank you all - again - for the love, the thoughts, the roses, and the kisses. I hope to be back to full sail by Monday.![]()

Victoria_2001_02769 said:~ I don't know why you got a reprimand for this - the sense in/of that is lost and senseless. As I see it - and this is just my UNeducated uptake - is that, as your way of dealing with the effects the War had on you, was to give a literary analogy of the Wolffen's feast and the death that follows - to War.
~ This piece is a combination of meanings to me. I can give it a semi-romantic spin starting with: "The gates are barred and the windows sealed" - and the mind sees (at least mine does) tall wrought iron gates - with spiked tips - closed and locked, and then - the windows sealed - means shut tight and locked - to keep the Wolffen out.
~ But death seeps in - regardless of the precautions one may take against it. I really liked this work - in spite of the darkness and eerieness within. It's lovely.
~ I can only imagine what it means to you to have posted this piece - and I thank you for sharing this with us. {{Thian}} *kotc*
