OOC: all right, but it had better happen soon. This has gone on long enough without a real plot.
IC:
A cold chill came over Garret, he didn't know why, but it felt so cold all of the sudden.
Garret held onto Mab, making sure whatever came he would protect her, no matter what.
At the moment, Lokken looked up to the sky, a sudden black cloud came in. He didn't understand much about magic, but this obviously wasn't natural.
"Mab, why don't we take the soldiers home, they have fought well, and deserve to be rewarded," Garret said.
Mab nodded, "Lokken, the soldiers have done their job, I believe we should let them go for now. They have served us well."
Lokken didn't seem to pay any attention. He simply looked up at the sky, arms out. A minute passed, then two, it seemed to just keep getting colder.
"No, we have just taken this land," he said, finally, it sounded as if his voice was far away, "We need to guard this city from other attacks. Let them guard it."
Garret and Mab yelled out the orders, and the officers took turns, 5 to an entrance, watching the city. Mab and Garret, tired from the day's work, decided to look for some rest. Garret followed Mab back to the castle.
He looked back at Lokken, who was still outside, arms open to the sky. He wondered who the master was, or what he was doing, but didn't ask. Some things are better left unsaid.
He followed Mab into the castle.
