Bridget sighed and looked back up . staring at the rim of his shirt so it was close enough to his eyes so he hopefully wouldn't notice. "I'll help you " she said sharply . "but i won't look at your eyes ..and don't try anything funny. please"she looked back down

I have no weapons and will not harm her I simply wish to collect the reward my king has offered. I have not eaten in weeks and need the gold badly."

I can give you military secrets in exchange, I used to be a soilder I konw the king's every move." Tartus, overcome by hunger and exhaustion fainted on the grass in front of the castle.

Bridget wished they could walk somewhere or sit down her feet hurt.she shifted her weight nervously and wrapped her arms around herself.

Tartus awoke, very weakend. Tartus slowly walked inside the castle, "Hello is there someone who can give me some a hand hear? I'll do whatever you want, I can tell you military secrets, I'll enlist, I'll juggle anything." Tartus then sat in the hallway, hoping a mouse or something would pass by and drop some cheese. "I wasn't always like this you know, I use to be the king's top ranking general I lead his army into many battles and was always victorious. Until I had to take off from work to heal a broken arm, when I returned I had been replaced." Tartus sat in the hallway, waiting to hear a response.

Bridget heard some one else talking . Turning around ever so slightly she saw a man who was dressed like a begger sitting inside the wall. "Excuse me?" she asked being nice "do you need anything?"

"I don't know if i need to know any secrets , but I was just about to go home and eat. you and the stranger i was talking to can come and eat with me ...." will there be someone else there?? what if they try and rape me?? she thought. she shook her head and walked though the doorway to a carriage that could bring her and her two , ...friends... with her.
