Cherise
Cherise let Creep's hand go reluctantly as he went to greet the bride to be. She closed her eyes and yawned. That transportation spell had taken much of her strength. They would be lucky if she didn't start snoring during the ceremony.
At that moment, a wash of unfamiliar magic enveloped her and she felt almost dizzy. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer in the Cathedral but in a huge room filled with the upmost opulane. Everwhere she looked, there were tapestries, rugs and furniture of the best quality. The walls and floors shone with a golden hue.
Huge windows opened onto a blue sky and clouds passed right by it as she stared. She had to be high up for that to happen. Going to the window, she looked down and she could see that they were high up on a mountain peak. And there were no stairs leading to the place that she could detect
There was only one explanation for this. Turning around, she saw Creeps there but no one else.
"This isn't my doing," She assured him,"I was too tired to do this. Besides I never knew that the Golden Palace of Solitude actually existed outside of myths until this day."
Walking around the place, she was in awe. Magic was everywhere and she felt very comfortable. She had a good mind to explore and see what she could of this legendary place but that would take days and they would miss them. Wouldn't they? She was a stranger to all of them but Creeps was known to them. Still this was an opportunity you didn't get more than once in a lifetime. Besides, it looked like she and Creeps were alone at last.
"The legend goes that the phantom servants of the palace will tend to each of the inhabitants needs without fail. Unless those guests try to steal anything," She gave a sharp look Creep' way.
"If that should happen, the forces of this place turn against them and they are killed. Never heard from again. Otherwise the palace should be at our disposal."
"Do you think we should return to your friends though?"
