It's pretty relaxing, thanks for asking. It's hot as hell (around 90), so I've been chatting and daydreaming about the chapter I'm working on, knowing I should get to it yet wanting to be sexy and social.

Oh, I am. I'm editing/revising my long romance story, working on my novel, and writing another story for the bus chain (got very inspired last night), so definitely lots of other stuff to keep me occupied. I just get annoyed when I check my scores first thing in the morning.

I know, but you have to remember that your worth isn't determined by your piece's score. Don't let the assholes get you down. Personally, I've stopped checking because I don't need any more crap on top of my daily struggles. The contest will end in another (2 weeks?), and I've just decided not to worry about it anymore. I wrote and submitted my How To, and now I've washed my hands of it.

I have the Nude Day Contest covered, so to speak. In fact, I have a story posted on the Story Discussion Circle IT'S ABILITY THAT COUNTS letting folks get an early start on fine-tuning their public comments. Feel free to stop by and throw a tomato or two.

As for the How-To contest, it's been a non-starter for me from the get-go. I'm in awe of those who've come up with interesting ideas and crafted them into informative pieces. Me, I'm 0-2.

Unless submissions really pick up, those who are entered will have comparatively good odds of finishing in the money.
