It is kind of smeared beyond recognition, an unreality hangs over the scores, the lack of 'sweeps' is demoralising to entrants, undeservedly so. I feel mildly embarrassed for the site owners, they are entitled to time off, but I'm not sure they appreciate the extent to which a succession of low votes deters authors from contributing.

3 votes in two days dropping the score from 4.21 to 4.13 to 4.06. If the trash were cleared this entry would have an 'H', it would receive more reads, I'd be in a contest and not in a shooting gallery

My votes haven't dropped me down that far, but I have noticed that despite getting new votes and great pc's, my score continues to fall or remain steady. Something seems a little odd about it. I've never had a score that didn't reflect the feedback I've gotten, so considering the HUGE amount of positive feedback I've gotten via email and pc, it seems very odd that my score is what it is. And yeah, it's pretty discouraging.

So far, I have found most of the stories to be quite amusing and enchanting.

It's a good crop of writers this time and I hope the trolls aren't hitting too hard.
