Rhyanna
She nearly jumped out of her skin when the blur went flying past her, smashing Bill literally to the floor. She wanted to tell them to shut up and leave her alone, let her die in fucking peace, but nothing came from her lips.
Her eyes went to the open door way, a vague thought that if she could just get outside...
To her right a machine began to beep, first one. Then slowly another and another.. Outside the howling began. First low, then lifting, growing louder. She caught sight of another blur moving past her doorway, but she had to be seeing things...
"Terry?" Her brows furrowed as she fought to concentrate, but whatever she had to say died on her lips as again the gray blur moved by her door, only this time it stopped.
It's head was down, his teeth bared as it snarled. Fear was quickly back in her veins, in her mind and giving her some last boost of energy. She straightened up and scooted backwards, only she didn't budge. A wall and trunk were behind her, she had no where to go..
And now? A timber wolf was standing inside her door way... The pack leader? It was unmarked, but the beeping machine meant the rest had entered the perimeter.
She heaved herself to a kneeling position, picking up the rifle as the wolf continued to growl and snap, eyeing her warily as he inched towards Terry and Bill.
