Rhyanna
She stared hard at Terry, still so lost as what to do or say, even thinking anymore was becoming too painful.
"Ah. Well that makes more sense than anything I've heard.. or seen in here today!" He adjusted his heavy belt and sighed, he really did not want to deal with all of this. What people did in their own bedrooms were none of his business, but he knew his buddies would love this story!
"Rhy, look.. All you had to do dear was just tell the truth. It's that simple. He's had a relapse, I suppose that can happen.." He eyed Terry with a warning look, "You should do better to stay at the clinic Mr. McMullin. They can do wonders, so I've been told." He sighed again, shaking his head at all this hubbub over nothing really.
"Alright I will leave with a warning Rhyanna. Any more lies and you will be taken in. Understood?" He didn't stop staring until she nodded her head affirmatively.
"And Mr. McMullin, you.. Well good luck with it." He didn't approach Terry to shake hands, nude men made him uncomfortable.
He stood for a long moment, simply staring down at Rhyanna's bent head. She must feel all sorts of horrified by him busting her.. That was payment enough for today's little.. whatever.
"Afternoon." He dipped his hat and this time he just left, didn't poke around to find the fabled fawn, just left..
Inside the cabin, everything was silent as Rhyanna stared at the scratched surface of her table. When the door had shut behind the Sheriff, she had tensed but that was her only sign of movement. Inside she was hopelessly confused, she didn't even know what to say to Terry..
Werewolf! It echoed in her mind, another shiver of awareness went up her spine.
Now what?
She didn't glance at him but she spoke, "I want to see Terry." He knew exactly what she wanted to see. She wanted confirmation she wasn't losing her god damned mind!
