I'll meet you in the middle of the Atlantic. Unless your knob is long enough to stretch to the UK from where you are...

For me, it's kind of like a memento I can't lose. Each one was part of a very specific journey.

Yes, I get that. But Lizzie's comment was about names specifically...

And this is why I don't quite get the fuss about 'omg you got someone's name tattooed on you!'

If you're not an 18 year old who's celebrating their 6 week anniversary, then than person means something of great value to you, and I see nothing wrong with wanting to remember that in later times, even if things go south in between.

Now, I can't speak for everyone here who's had a "love" turn sour but I sure as heck wouldn't want my ex's name on my skin. We were together 5 years, not 6 weeks, and I wasn't 18. And for most of those years I genuinely believed I loved him and that we'd be together for life. I remember the journey well and I learned a lot from that time. However, I'm happy as heck I don't have "I  Beauregard"* permanently engraved on my body.

I don't "get" the need/want for tattoos but I do understand that for some people it makes them feel good, whatever the reason, and that's cool. Names however? Especially the name of an SO? Mmmmm, I think that's not entirely wise. An initial makes more sense, at least that could be easily covered up with an image, down the road, should things go awry. And things can always go awry.

Sorry, I'm pragmatic. It's my nature.

*Not his real name. His real name was Viggo Mortensen.

Yeah, this is my problem.

If it's worth remembering, you have it tattooed on your brain already - no need for it on your skin.

And as to it being an expression of individuality/uniqueness, well, every one of us is unique already.

I must have a mental blind spot about tattoos.

The funny thing is, without tattoos and piercings, (I'm assuming you are unpierced), very soon we will be the unique ones, lol. Especially among my nephew's generation who, to quote a friend, "seem to have fallen face first into a tackle box".

But, jokes aside, if a tattoo makes someone happy, cool. The heart wants what the heart wants.

(Sooooo glad I never got those badger claws tattooed on my ass, the ones I really wanted when I was 17. Whew, dodged a bullet there.)

Finally earned another pass!

He's not making this game easy. I'm totally digging it. :D

Now, off to try and burn out the one I've been working on for 4 days! Finally get permission and I can't seem to push myself over the edge.

And this is why I don't like too much orgasm denial. Like anything else, it becomes a habit. The body gets in the habit of not cumming, and it can stick. Same reason why I don't care much for vibrator abuse. Use them vibes too much and that becomes what the body needs to hit that peak.

Like anything else, balance is necessary.

Duly noted.

I just kinda figured you were on your period and thus were a bit touchy.

Are you still trying to goad me? Really? Pfft. I'll keep in mind that "lazy fuck" is a whine-button for you.

It's not standards so much or even good conversation as it is pure lack of experience. I've never actually propositioned anyone before. And I'm not entirely sure what to do with them if they offer. I've also discovered that some people find it rather... frustrating... when their partner keeps asking permission to do things. Or touch things. To top it off, it isn't like I'm the most attractive gal around. I don't even know if I would qualify in the bottom half, let alone the bottom 2/3rds.

I want to fuck - hard, fast, rough, and dirty. With someone who understands where it's coming from (no pun intended) and won't be absolutely disgusted if I shed a tear or two. Not that I expect any kind of snuggling or extra kindness or such, just a bit of understanding and patience.

And no, the shyness doesn't help matters any. Hence the screen name.

Yeah, advertise. Set the bar from the start. Include phrases like "I like to ask for permission." Are you on Fetlife? CollarMe? Seriously, if all you're looking for is cock, you are the only thing holding you back. I personally know plenty guys that are not overly concerned how a woman looks when it comes to NSA sex on the down-low.

I'm not trying to be mean, darlin'. If anything, I'm trying to get you to look at you wants and needs critically, and see if you are being honest when you say that all you wants is a non-submissive fuckbuddy, or if it is you being facetious? If it is the latter, your own purposeful misconceptions are helping to keep you frustrated and miserable.

Time and time again, I see unhappy people and figure out that the root of their unhappiness is confusing their wants and needs, and working too hard to satisfy the former and not hard enough on the latter. Needs first, then wants, and you will never, ever satisfy either unless you know what the fuck they are. This requires honest introspection, and it may well be painful.

But, hey, who said life was easy, right?

Next time when there's a snow day, my school should really let me know. Apparently making me drive 15 miles on the highway going only 35 mph in about 6 inches of snow is much easier than just sending out a mass email.

Yeah, I just want some nice, rough sex. Maybe with a side of biting and breath play. I also think it'll help break the emotional D/s bond with my ex-People. That was always one of the things that never set well while I was with them - the idea of fucking someone else when so much of my attention was focused on them.

But it is what it is and that parts in the past now. And there has been some discussion with a potential bed buddy. I've been honest about where I'm at and he seems happy enough with the prospect, so we shall see.

But if they're of so much value, wouldn't you just remember them anyway? I mean, I'll never forget my mom, even without her name on my skin. I'll never forget any of the people in my life who were dear to me but are no longer physically present.

Oh, I'm not saying you *would* forget.

Just that to me, that's an alright reason for doing it and why I don't see it as the Very Bad Idea that some people do.

But then, I do kinda groove on marks, even the indeliable kind.

I thought about my first tattoo for nearly 16 years before I actually had it inked to my skin. I have to admit I loved the feeling that washed over me as it was applied. I've recently added a little something to it to keep someone special always close, but I doubt I'll get more. I think people rush too fast into tattoos and Keroin's comment about the badger claws simply made me laugh.

I love my tattoo, but I dont do names.

My boss just had her new boyfriends name tattooed on her neck, 34 days after meeting him. That, I think, is dumb dumb dumb.

Hopefully it's a name she could turn into a different word or words?

Examples:

Bob -> I love bobcats!

Jim -> Jimmy crack corn and I don't care!

Mark -> Mark my word, if you get your lover's name tattooed on your neck after only 34 days you will likely regret it!

It's entirely possible that a rare and quite sneaky PlasmaDom has entered your life and is just beginning to train you as his meatsub. The PlasmaDom is known to follow a randomized training method that relies on establishing high levels of cortical confusion. In these conditions, the meatsub becomes more easily trainable as he or she begins to count on the appearance of bruises and aches as evidence that the PlasmaDom cares for them and wants to share their vaporous life.*

The trouble with having a PlasmaDom, of course, is that you can never tell if yours wants you for who you are and will care for you forever or if he or she is around only for the sugar in your pantry. They must have sugar to survive.

Has the sugar in your cupboard been disappearing just as the bruises have been showing up on your body?
 Great Scott, I have been restocking my sugar container more and more frequently.*And I have been thinking more and more about*diaphanous alternate lifestyles...

But now I don't know how to handle my predicament!

My sister waited 30 years before she got hers. She loves it. I'm happy for her.

I can laugh too, since, if I have that money kicking around, I would rather buy a mountain bike than pay for laser surgery to have a stupid tattoo removed!!

Fortunately, there is an elegant solution.

PlasmaDoms are, by their very nature, attracted to other large collections of plasma. If you suspect that an unwanted PlasmaDom might be trying to invade your life, purchase a plasma television set of at least 65 inches diagonal measure (size matters here) and tune it to an all-sports network. I guarantee that within a few days your sugar supply will once again be stable and you will no longer find mysterious bruises showing up on your body at random intervals.

Then invite me over to watch The Masters with you (April 7 to 10, 2011).

Gee, I was planning on going to Mexico, but this sounds way more dire; I'll let you know of the purchase right away. You showing up for the Masters is a part of the solution, right?

I suppose I need to get cable, too. The price I pay for exorcisms of PlasmaDoms...

Be sure to get the High Definition service package as well. PlasmaDoms are particularly sensitive about the quality of the images into which they retreat as they leave this world.

I don't have the budget for this! I suppose I could take out a loan, but this is kind of...

Well... I do like my sugar..

Fine, I'll do whatever it takes! Then I can get on with my new, technologically-improved life and only get bruises from Doms who are considerate to my state of conscious awareness.

Wise choice. ;)

But do consider seeing a (or another) doctor about those bruises. Might be worrisome, might not, but it's hard to tell on your own.
