You know what? I'm not obligated to finish this book. I'm only obligated to finish the first chapter. And regardless of whether I get the book contract or not, I'm going to apply to teach ASL in Japan. The book can wait a year. The important thing is that a book is created. If the other team finishes before me because I chose to wait, that's okay. If their product is inferior to mine, I'll do mine when I get back. But I won't let a sense of obligation keep me from following the dream.

The issue of being separated from my wife for so long is a reason to reconsider. The book is not.

Twitch got upset and took off yesterday. The caseworker was out so I texted another foster parent and asked what to do when a 15 year old goes out the bedroom window.

Her reply: "Close the window."

It made me laugh.

I love any reason to get dressed up. I have a closet full of costumes, yet when ever there's an event I have to make a new one.

I gave up on ballgowns. I LOVE them, almost as much as costumes, but I never have an excuse to wear one. I'm so jealous my brother has gotten invited to the officer's ball every year he's state side for it. I'd kill to be my sister in law, all dressed in a big fancy ball gown with a man in dress uniform to hold onto. *sigh*

Strage how some dreams can feel so realistic in your sleep. As if it really happened yanno?

The 4 nightmares I had last night left me feel as if I got slaped to the ground. I can't stop thinking about the stupid dreams now. Funny how the worse possible scenario that could ever happen to you can come alive in our dreams while we are sleeping. Things that would hurt you emotionaly the most if they really happened IRL.

Well I've died at the end of the dream, which was actualy a good thing after the things I dreamt of in the other dream. I wonder how those things came into my mind. It wasn't THAT unrealistic, but still.
