Oh man! I thought flu and pneumonia vaccines weren't supposed to make me sick. I think I should've just waited to get sick!

Yeah, that's what they always say, but my mom got sick TWICE from it. Doctors will lie to you, just remember that.

Next time I'm just gonna get sick the old fashioned way. None of this needleplay crapola. If I get feeling too icky, I'll just go over to mariposa's. I feel like crap; she's pretty sure she got hit by a truck! Weird thing is, it may have been the pneumonia one that made us icky; because the people who only got the flu shot are mostly fine! But it feels like the flu....

One year, when I was 16, my mom got her flu shot the same day my sister got her chicken pox shot. It was a week before christmas, and one day before my uncle, aunt, and their three daughters were supposed to show up. Mom got the flu (and gave it to my uncle) and L got the chicken pox. It snowed, and we were all snowed in, and June (my evil aunt) wouldn't let the little girls go outside to play, so they were climbing the walls. I swore then and there that I would never get a flu shot, and none of my children would get chicken pox shots.

FYI It turns out that children aren't supposed to get their chicken pox shots before 12 mo - it'll give them chicken pox. My sister was 10 months old.

Over the moon, happy, and rapt.....most wonderful Masterful One in the universe just booked my flight to Oz for nearly a month with feeble mother, daughter and granddaughter. :cathappy: Was wonderful hearing my daughter's excitement when I called to tell her today....and excitement of that kind is something she usually manages to hide well with a cool 'OK, that will be nice' type response....but not this time!!! :D

LOl, I will...almost a month to get organised....will be nice to not be hauling much luggage there for a change. How much will I need to laze around in humid heat for a few weeks? Midnight swimming to cool off.....yum.:D

I just had a mind-blowing experience. I can't tell you all about it, because someone's bound to call me suicidal or psycho.

But it was awesome, my friends, in the archaic sense of the word. Such a short-lived experience, but it's the kind of thing that brings peace to the soul.

May everyone find peace in their own way, is my prayer for the night.
 
<RANT>Installed the friggin latest version of ZoneAlarm and it pulled a hissy fit on my PC. It now states that it is protecting my PC by blocking any web pages from loading due to a possible exploit or something that it has detected on my PC. Scanned with a fully updated version of AVG & then again at PC Cillan's HouseCall online. Neither found a thing. Strange thing is ... the only site that snuck past Zone's protective measures is Literotica!! LOL .. i'm stuck here. i can't go anyweher else on the internet.

Of course, the instructions that ZoneAlarm offers to correct the problem .... are NOT working on my PC. i'm spending the morning backing up all my shit that is stored/installed on my PC. Have already filled up 6, 80min/700MB CDs ... and that is JUST my backups from 'My Documents'. i need to remember to not let so much crap build up on the PC and back up more often. i'm going to need another 6 CDs just to back up stuff i have stored & 'hidden' deep in my C: drive. It will be nice if i can get away with clearing all of this stuff out after backing up .... nice clean, uncluttered PC .... ahhhhh.

Damn ... i just know i'm going to end up having to reformat if i can't find a way to get a good registry cleaner installed. i've never had to do a reformat on this PC, since it was built for me in late 2002. :rolleyes: </RANT>

Actually, they stock it all through the Christmas season. That's like 92 days or so. And I shall partake often, and in many forms.

I think two melatonin and two Benadryl should be enough.
