The Isolated Blurt BDSM Thread

gracie - holy shit - I found this out from the OTHER thread....

I am so sorry.

You know, nothing like the middle of the night to get the mind going. I was doing ok today. I only cried once, and that was when I was talking to my mom about calling his family. I could go the rest of my life quite content without having to make that kind of phone call again.

My sister told her kids today. From what I hear, my sister and her husband did a good job. They started out with explaining what suicide is. My niece immediately burst into tears. I think she'll be fine because she'll cry and all that, and get it out. My nephew went bone white. He didn't cry. He had some questions. He kept asking if they were sure that P killed himself. He was hoping that he'd been murdered. It's pretty bad when you hope that someone was murdered. My aunt, who's father commit suicide, told my cousin who told me, that suicide is the ultimate in abandonment. I can only just imagine how P's biological children are doing.

His family has decided not to have a funeral. No one can afford it for one thing. For another everyone is very angry with him. His sister told me the other day that she was learning a lot about P she hadn't known. Now that he's dead his exwife and their children are telling his family the stories they have - none good.

Netzach. I'm sorry if I was abrupt above. I was joking with a few friends, and I was desperately hoping if I didn't think about it too much I'd sleep tonight. It's almost one - I guess that's not going to happen. :(

I finished washing my sisters clothes today. I took them to her husband's house. Their's no way I could have carried them up the stairs to her house by myself and no one was planning on going there that night.

About this time of night 'Whiskey Lullaby' goes on permanent loop in my head. 'He put that bottle to his head, and pulled the trigger'.

Oh, and my current run of bad luck continues. My neighbors toilet overflowed AGAIN, and now the drywall tape on my ceiling is detaching. Evidently their entire carpet is going to have to be replaced. Something's up with K's unemployment and we didn't get it. Etc, etc. I'm seriously considering going to bed and not getting up till this run goes away. *sigh*

Mis hope you are ok hon :rose:

CutieMouse....fingers crossed for your phone. I drop mine in the bath all the time. Ahem *blush*...both mobile and landline. They tend to dry out, although when I did it with my landline it sounded as though I was calling from underwater for a while

*hugs* Graceanne...sorry you are all having such a bad time of it lately. Thinking of you and hoping for some good times ahead :rose:

WARNING - Hallmark E-Card e-mail!

Just because most all of us read this thread:

There is an e-mail going around titled "You have received a Hallmark E-Card!" with a link to the purported card that goes to http://optro.co.kr/img/postcard.exe. This link leads to a self-installing virus!

Do NOT click the link, and don't try to forward it to Hallmark so they'll know someone's trying to use their name for virus propagation - their e-mail system rejects it  While "received" is spelled properly in the e-mail header, it is spelled incorrectly - "recieved" - within the body of the e-mail (good clue as to false origins, as we all know that Hallmark can spell).

*hugs* for innerslut

As for the cell, if you get it before it's been wet really long, and turn it off and let it dry a couple of days it'll be fine. The problem is when it's imersed for long enough for all the water to get in there AND do it's job. The way I figure it is that their's air in your phone. When you drop it in the water at first that air keeps the water out, but eventually you get little bubbles (that's the air escaping) and that means the water is getting IN the phone.

Actually... Thats exactly what I was told by a commo guy... After I washed the company pager... In my clothes pocket.
But he told me to NOT turn anything on if you drop it in water... Pull the battery..Leave the back off and if possible... Set it in the draft from a fan {not a hairdryer unless it has the heat turned off}...
And that it might take 3 days to dry...or as much as a week.
*grin*
He did also say that it may crap {would probably} out incrementally after that though..
So if it dies...*shrug*

I used a hair dryer with the heat tunred off; by this morning the volume/beepyness/etc all appears to be back... funny how attached I've become to the damned cell phone... sigh.

Thank you for the information, Sir Winston. :rose: Neon

Hallmark is not the only one with this problem. I got an 'e-postcard' the other day, to my graceanne account. This seemed fishy, partly cause it was a postcard, and partly cause anyone who's gonna send me an e-card would know to send it to my primary account, not my graceanne account. So I googled the supposed company that sent it and found out it's a virus. I don't recall what the company was called, so be warned.

*mumble* I don't even open those things from my mother, much less some stranger...

*ahem* I said nothing. Nothing dammit! ;)

Mental note: Don't send sd an e-card telling her how sexy those long legs look in black boots with 5" (?) stiletto heels, even reclining on a sofa...

(Pervy fun-flirt!) :p

A sweet PM would work twice as well ;)

Shit, maybe it isn't the BDSM or the bisexuality that is the difference between us. Deep down I just don't love him any more.
