graceanne said:You know, nothing like the middle of the night to get the mind going. I was doing ok today. I only cried once, and that was when I was talking to my mom about calling his family. I could go the rest of my life quite content without having to make that kind of phone call again.
My sister told her kids today. From what I hear, my sister and her husband did a good job. They started out with explaining what suicide is. My niece immediately burst into tears. I think she'll be fine because she'll cry and all that, and get it out. My nephew went bone white. He didn't cry. He had some questions. He kept asking if they were sure that P killed himself. He was hoping that he'd been murdered. It's pretty bad when you hope that someone was murdered. My aunt, who's father commit suicide, told my cousin who told me, that suicide is the ultimate in abandonment. I can only just imagine how P's biological children are doing.
His family has decided not to have a funeral. No one can afford it for one thing. For another everyone is very angry with him. His sister told me the other day that she was learning a lot about P she hadn't known. Now that he's dead his exwife and their children are telling his family the stories they have - none good.
Netzach. I'm sorry if I was abrupt above. I was joking with a few friends, and I was desperately hoping if I didn't think about it too much I'd sleep tonight. It's almost one - I guess that's not going to happen.
I finished washing my sisters clothes today. I took them to her husband's house. Their's no way I could have carried them up the stairs to her house by myself and no one was planning on going there that night.
About this time of night 'Whiskey Lullaby' goes on permanent loop in my head. 'He put that bottle to his head, and pulled the trigger'.
Oh, and my current run of bad luck continues. My neighbors toilet overflowed AGAIN, and now the drywall tape on my ceiling is detaching. Evidently their entire carpet is going to have to be replaced. Something's up with K's unemployment and we didn't get it. Etc, etc. I'm seriously considering going to bed and not getting up till this run goes away. *sigh*

graceanne said:My best friend had a pregnancy scare a while back. She got drunk off her ass and finally told me she thought she was pregnant. I told her no point in stressing until she took a pregnancy test. We did it right there at walmart, it was negative, and she HUGGED three strangers on her way out.

myinnerslut said:i didnt want to take the test until after camp tommorrow becuase if it was posistive, i didnt want to be distracted all day thinking about it while iw as working. but today i was distracted anyway thinking about it so i decided, fuck it, im taking the test as soon as i get home from work and ill deal with the results then. which is what i did.
myinnerslut said:at 19 years old, it was very much the result i wanted. especially since i really dont like abortions but for medical reasons would HAVE to get one. thats why we use birth control and condoms, which is why being pregnant is rather unlikely. but was still a posibility. especially since i never got my period this month.

catalina_francisco said:I remember well when my daughter called me to ask my opinion on I think it was 2 positives and 1 negative result. I pretty much told her I thought she could bet on the positives being the correct ones which at 17 was not what she wanted to hear exactly. Fortunately I did not rant and rave and just asked her what she wanted to do and reassured her I would support her in whatever decision she made...now we have the most adorable 61/2 year old you could dream of.

Good idea. After days of stress, you can use the rest, especially before camp Friday. Congratulations on getting the desired answer, too! And btw - that "good luck" wasn't *just* for today.myinnerslut said:im heading to bed early tonight
Sir_Winston54 said:My toes huuuuurrrrrrrtttttt! Don't ask me why I had a cast-iron 4" workshop vise in my bedroom, cuz I won't tell... but I will advise any who are interested that a vise is *not* a good thing to stub two small toes on in the dark. One nail bent back all the way to its base - I have no doubt that I'm gonna lose it. <Sigh> And if one or both of them are broken, there's absolutely nothing than can really be done for them except to tape them together - and they hurt too much right now to do that. Maybe in the morning. Mierda!
