For God's Sake. My mother just called me. My other grandma, my mom's mom, has pnemonia. To put this in perspective she's 86 years old. :(

ooo that isn't good Gracie... I do hope she is being watched closely...
that takes the elderly quickly if they have weakened immune systems...

Yeah, she's also being a stubborn pain in the ass and refusing to go to the hospital. My uncle is a nurse practitioner, so she's taking antibiotics FINALLY. And she promised if their wasn't a marked improvement in five days she'd go in. *grr*

whew... that's good:)

I have found the key to unlock doors hidden deep in my psyche. And you know that key is you.

Should I turn back now, and return to the surface, just because it hurts?

I'd rather explore these deepest longings, and embrace whatever pain they bring, in order to live my life to its fullest and discover who I can become.

A woman was arrested for ...looks at ground...for microwaving her 3 week (?) old baby to death.

*wonders why*
was she alone with no help & maybe very young
was she in an abusive relationship that was going to hurt the baby
was she in a manipulative relationship & he didn't want the baby
was she depressed (post partum depression is very severe if it hits you)
was the child from a rape & she was not allowed to abort it
was child protection going to take it from her
had she lost other ones to premature deaths
does she have undiagnosed heath issues

Yes, we have to wonder what goes thru the minds of people like this to rationalize why they do some things, but there is always two sides to the coin. I know this is drastic & awful but something snapped inside her to harm/kill an innocent.

Do you have a link for this? I googled but the only one I found was about China Arnold whose baby was a month old when she put it in the microwave in August 2005 - is this the case you're referring to? The article was dated Nov. 28, 2006.

For the last 2 days off and on I've had dyspepsia (pain under the breastbone, burping)......same sort of symptoms I had six years ago when I had a peptic ulcer  Hoping it goes away....if not I guess doctor here I come :(

Whatever it was appears to have settled  Master reckons it was indigestion caused by stress - He has been ill and I have been worried and then I got the flu myself.

He says I worry too much (and I probably do, but I can't help it) and He has no intention of letting anything happen to Himself because He wants to continue being as happy as He is now  :nana:

I was flicking through channels and rested briefly rested on 'Nancy Grace'. She and a talking head were discussing the murder over footage of a woman appearing in court in an orange jumpsuit & cuffs. I can't stand NG at the best of times and the content pushed me over the edge, so I flicked away. Could it be that China Arnold is only going to court now? Or maybe they were reviewing the most appalling cases ever, I don't know. I couldn't take it long enough to find out more.

Who's bright-ass idea was it to take four children and a hungry man into a nice sit down restraunt? (Hint: NOT MINE!)

That's the last freaken time I do that. Next time they can go by themselves and I'll sit at home and relax.

Yeah. I think it would have been more relaxing to stay home and then do dishes. The kids were good, but just barely, and Mr. Cranky was getting crankier. i wasn't sure who was gonna embarrass me first; him or the kids. I have a stomach ache from shoveling my food in as quickly as I could without making a spectacle of myself.

I wish my best friend was home, so I could just tell her how uncomfortable I made the receptionist who answered my phonecall...
