Whether we "get it right" or not, if at the end of the day we can look back and say, "I did my best," we have no reason to be discouraged or beat ourselves up.Hisbabydoll26 said:I'm never going to get it right.

As I believe I've mentioned somewhere in Lit before, the old "Short Attention Span Theatre" was invented with me in mind. Now that I've accepted the reality of my nature, it wouldn't be fair of me to delude anyone into thinking that at this stage of my life I'm liable to change who/what I am - a lazy, selfish sadist who, after the initial romance/"conquest" stage would by degrees revert to less attention to the "us" of the relationship and more to the "me."coyone said:are you suuuuuure you're not looking for someone *big ole cheesey smile*

No need - like many people, I enjoy teasing, being teased, flirting, being flirted with.coyone said:*smiles*
yes I remember you making that statement... I also cannot help my very playful nature.. however I will try to curb it from now on.

But isn't it better to have someone else to "beat you up" (in the good way, not the "normal" sense of the phrase)?Hisbabydoll26 said:Not sure I did my best but things are better. Beating myself up now that is something I'm amazing at.

Well, as "they" say, the first step toward success is to recognize/admit that you need to get that handle and get out of those habits, so you're on the way.Hisbabydoll26 said:Oh yes I'm working on that but if I could get a handle on my own behavior/emotions and get out of old habits it would be more likely to occur without all the drama.
