Funny how time's have changed. Several years ago when AA complained about the amount of repetitive threads, he was crucified for it.

I agree with her, just as I agreed with AA before. One thing that happens here is that many new posters do NOT read. They start a new thread about something that is currently being talked about in another thread.

I understand the mindset. It's a new and exciting thing and they think that no one else has ever experienced what they are experiencing. I was the same way.

But 4 threads on this one topic? Please... they all say the same phrase in the title... Daddy/littlegirl.

Not everyone wants to read what was said, they want to read what's being said - but when it's being talked about, and their's FOUR FREAKEN THREADS on it, it irritates me. Not to mention the threads on whether you're a sub or dom or switch. How many are there now?

Yes. I agree with you. I have no problem with differences in relationships. Whatever floats your boat and all that stuff. But I don't need to be inundated with it. I get it. I got it on the first go 'round. I don't need a half dozen threads on the subject to get it. And just because it's not MY thing does not make it any less important to someone else.

That's pretty much what I mean. I'm sure their's hundreds of D/g type threads, but it doesn't take that much effort to scan the first page and make sure their isn't anything currently being discussed.

Your thread was ok, but it was more 'labely' than I'm comfy with. It reminds me of a thread I had once that was what are you? You know I'm a mom, a wife, a daughter, sister, cousin, friend. I'm a crohns victim, a blue eyed brunette . . . etc. Everyone's list is long. I guess I'm getting to the point of objecting to being labeled, cause I'm a complex person. That's the only reason I didn't post anything helpful.

As for sig lines - you know you can turn them off. It's in your options area. If you don't like looking at sigs, then turn off the sigs and you won't see anyone's sig.
