I haven't even looked at the temperature today. I really don't want to know. Been hiding from it all day.

It's not just the heat, it's the freakish humidity and total lack of breeze.

Mid 80's today. Going to be hotter tomorrow

It's hard to play "trusted shoulder to cry on" and then when you check up on them later they still feel bad AND don't want to talk.

Sydney can't make up it's mind - we had 36C last week and now it's 21C

There have been strong westerlies which have blown in a plague of moths - not bad where we are near Botany Bay but the city is copping them badly

If biorythms tracked emotions, my Contentment curve would be low and getting lower, and my Aggravation chart would be high and staying there.

Time for some heavy bag work.

Aaarrrgggggggg......
It is not MONDAY.
It IS Tuesday for fucks sake!
Grrrr... damn C. Columbus and all three day weekends to hell for messing up my ability to determine what day of the week it is.

I REALLY miss having a laptop and being able to go online while in my cozy bed under my even cozier (is that spelled right?? ) down comforter.

I totally cannot read when there is a hearing person in the room watching TV. Every time she leaves I whip out my Ninja Remote and mute it, and every time she comes back she unmutes it. How am I supposed to read for history?! Oh well, I'll play on Lit instead...

I want one of these toys with a passion that approaches the obscene.

Hates the TV. Hates it, I do.

Nah, smacks too much of forcing choices on people based on one person's preference, not to mention the idea of using it in public places....my thinking is if someone is somewhere there is a TV on and they don't like it while others are quite happy to watch, tune out with it, or ignore, they are the ones who could move and respect the rights of others to make their own choices.

*blink*

I'm largely talking about home use. I don't frequent places that have TV's on generally. I just get tired of the kid's watching TV all the bloody time, and there are moments when I don't feel like trying to argue with a two-year old that understands all too well how to turn it on again. The idea that I would have an off-button on my key-ring is terribly attractive.

And, moreoever, just owning such an item would be therapeutic for me. Knowing that I can silence the bloody squawkbox would soothe my ill-tempered, TV-hating soul.

Control is my Happy Place. Whether I use it or not is immaterial to being in said Happy Place.

You know where I learned about eggs and ketchup? Two kids I babysat all summer one year, just before 10th grade liked them like that.

*chuckles*

When you say mayo and ketchup.... what else do you put in it... I find a good dressing is just oil, vinegar and a little mustard.. works a treat... either that or just oil and balsamic..

As for eggs and ketchup... fried or scrambled eggs with ketchup... yummy!

Master would be scary with one of those. He controls the remote.. always... even when visiting at my house.. it's just a rule..
