I just have bronchitis that doesn't want to go away; my chest and head feel half filled with wet concrete, and my throat is raw from coughing (and coughing and coughing and coughing...). Two different varieties of Mucinex haven't done the trick yet, and I'm almost out of tetracyclin <sigh>. Plus, I have a s...load of work that needs to be done, but even when I'm awake (I'm sleeping 14-16 hours a day), I really don't feel like working. Therefore, the new AV - as I get feeling better, it'll change.

Shit shit shit.....why do bad things always happen to good people....

Master Gil is in hospital....His dialysis fistula clotted yesterday...it has to be unblocked so He can dialyse...they have had to put a cath in His groin it is oozing blood and it's painful but it's the only access right now. They couldn't get one into His neck like He had before

We don't know if they can fix it or not....we don't know what the options are yet....He is in pain, nauseous and very pissed off with Himself....He will be in for at least a week no surgery until Wednesday He needs an ultrasound before that and it's the bloody weekend....I am tired and stressed and look and feel like hell....worried to death, not eating regular....shit shit SHIT!!![/end rant]

she's washing my winter blankets for me because she knows I need them and I'm just too exhausted from this cold thingy to be able to do it. And she gave me some snuggles too. Still wish I had some one to tuck me into bed, but she's not an affectionate person, so for her to spend 10 mins just cuddling me is a lot for her.

I can only restate what has already been said ... take care of yourself so you can take care of Him I know it will be a long week ahead if surgery won't be performed until Wednesday. You need nourishment and rest to withstand the stress. Because most of us here at Lit are so far away from you and Master Gil we are unable to 'do' much to help ... but please know you have our hearts supporting you both through this situation.

Master Gil is much better today, He can now eat and even walk a short distance so His back pain is much improved. Not sure what was causing the nausea but I suspect a combination of all the sedation He had on Friday plus the dye they use for the x-rays to see the blood vessels could be to blame. I guess we will have to go through it all again on Wednesday when they try to unblock the fistula.

I need to go shopping tomorrow, plus He has insisted I go to my Pilates class so I will be an obedient sub and do as I am told...
