The Isolated Blurt BDSM Thread

Actually, this is the only thing that annoys me about being a mod. I feel it would be against my duties to put anyone on ignore. I do fine at mentally ignoring the choads, but I also feel I don't have the option to do it with the technological option.

Exactly. On the forums that I was mod I didnt' have anyone on ignore. Here, not only do I have some people on ignore, but I sometimes won't even go into a thread that looks like a drama thread or a 'look at me' thread. If I was mod I'd go in just to fulfill my job, and then I'd probably get very very cranky with people here on lit.

I gotta put up with childish behavior with my kids, it pisses me off to do it with strangers.

I so badly wanted spanked right now.

Violet candies are nummy. Rose ones are ok too.

Dexter is a cartoon, right?

I love Spock.

I want a superpower. Flying would be cool, as long as I get something else cool with it.

I want red hair right now. With solid green eyes.

I miss having a cat. Stupid allergies & lease agreements that don't let you have one anyway.

Lost in Space is one funny as all get out tv show. How hokey can they get?

That's Dexter's Laboratory.

Dexter is a Showtime drama about a cop who is also a serial killer - but the only people he kills are people who deserve it, usually because they are serial killers themselves. It stars Michael C. Hall, who played the uptight gay brother on Six Feet Under.

Ahh! That explains why I've never heard of it, let alone seen it. I don't get that channel. (Or any multiples thereof.) Too bad. Sounds like it's interesting.

i went to a special dinner at my school and they had a chocolate fountain! to hell with eating right!

Well, no, actually. But what were you thinking that I was talking about?

Oh now I know you are toying with me .

You really nearly had me explaining an unconventional line of events that has nothing to do with razors and everything to do with mens belts. Phew close call, that would have been rather embarrassing.

Oh yes, they have had them for sale around these parts and I have been very good at resisting the temptation.....so far.:D

Catalina:catroar:

i took a mug and held it under the cocholate fountain then got a big plate o fruit and dipped the pieces in one at a time. it was my compromise.

MIS what's the etiquette/protocol with those things. I know they are all the rage currently but I get this squicked out feeling that someone is sneaking in for a double dip just thinking about it.

Ohh imagine what Shy would be like. Screaming hard limit.

We soooooooooo need to get her one : chuckles :

*points at the "PM" button*

Embarrassment is ever so much more interesting when up close and personal.

;)

Proper etiquette dictates that you have a small plate of fruit/cookies/what ever and dip each one individually into the stream of the fountain twirling it to cover completely but staying 1/2 inch or so below your fingertips, or using a toothpick/fork for each fruit.

Once your plate of treats is covered, you return to your table, or to the conversations/mingling and BACK THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE FOUNTIAN.

eh hem. double dipping, or suspicion of double dipping is a big no no. :)

yeah, and there were also a whole bunch of people doing what i did and getting a cup or mug full andbringing it back to the table to share with a few people. i also saw somebody take an ice cream cone and swirl it under the fountain

technically according to "proper" etiquette, thee cup thing would be a major faux pah, but I see the since in it. And ice cream is way too messy to put in a fountain, you get melted ice cream in it and yuck.

Okay, thank you for going to the trouble of explaining it for me Miss Wench, that makes more sense. Still don't know if I would be enticed though. I also have an intense recoil reflex at smorgosbord too if that's any consolation.

BACK THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE FOUNTAIN.
Bet Ayn Rand had that on a T-shirt

as it was at a college event, nobody cared much for ettiquitte. we knew enough to keep fingers out and not double dip. other then that it was a free for all

The problem with proper etiquette is that not every one knows it....and even if they do, they may not follow it.

I can't remember what it was for but there is a great commercial with a woman..very fancy place..she is decked out...updo the whole nine..she sees a chocolate fountain and literally drinks from it..coming up for air (and a face full of chocolate) only when her husband asks what she is doing. She was full on in it....looked fun. :D

hillbilly deluxe....*giggling* I can't help myself...always feel like a hick when we go back home...that has got to be it...I hope  Now...where are my freshly polished boots *growling*
