The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

I love that we live in an era where so many women like to post Hustler-like photos of themselves.

It's weird to be from a time when Hustler magazine was the epitome of hardcore print pornography. Of which so many lead you to believe they were disgusted by it.

Now days I can see all kinds of beaver. Even the beaver of women whom by looking at their well-to-do faces you would guess she wouldn't want a guy like you looking at her beaver. Yet there it is!

It's pretty fucking great.

They did it again, yet another brilliant season of Shoresy. True Canadiana at it's best. 👍🏼
Who do you think you fucking are? The fucking Rock?

it's been dreadful for heat here this June... the past two weeks the thermo's rarely been below 100 in the afternoons, and yesterday it read 103. The forecast always shows about 10 degrees cooler in the summer :( The humidity's vile as usual, but more than anything else it's wrecked so much planting.

the corn cobs are smaller, tomato plants slower (and smaller), potato plants above ground all shriveled (still spuds in the soil though), the lush carrot tops all getting burned, the cucumber plants growing thin and pale where they're normally still bushy, and the potted plants are really needy. Even the tops of some trees are bleached pale ochre.

i lost all the potted zinnias and cantaloupes and in the garden, between the corn sets, the sunflower leaves are burned all black except the top quarter.

Adobe rival Nestle for being the scummiest corporation on the planet. I feel no qualms whatsoever that all of their software I have is stolen.

They have that here, too. I don't have a downhill specific bike, but my trail bike would be fun on a hill like that. Might not be super in the mondo bumps, but the 6"/5" travel front/rear would do well. Larger diameter brake disks might be good on the big hills.

I live about 700 feet or so above the flat-ish lands of Anchorage where my job is. And due to the terrain, it's 1100 ft of climbing to get home from work.
We did a couple 1000ft+ hikes this year. We were maxed out. We did two 6 mile round trip and 1000ft elevation climbs. Those were day 2 and 3.. We were both so fucking sore on day 4 we just drove around RMNP. We got out and took short walks, but it was hard to get motivated. On day 5, we took a shorter hike with less elevation climb, but we get to caught in a hail/snow storm on top of the mountain. Day 6, we hiked around he alpine regions, that was very cool, but cold and windy. Overall, it was a great trip, but I'm ready to rest. We just got home and are unpacking. Luckily, a cold front moved through this morning, not often Iowa has better weather, in late June, than Denver.

That was a loud and intense masturbation session in a very long time. Glad my neighbors are hard of hearing :D

We're pretty spoiled living in Anchorage. You can hike up 2, 3, or 4 thousand feet from a parking area in the morning and be down in time for a shower and for a nice dinner and maybe catch something at the performing arts center.

And it's fucking hot this afternoon/evening. 71°F.

we got rain yesterday evening!

all 30 seconds of it

:(
I would venture to say, we've had one of the wettest spring/early summers ever. It's rained at least twice a week. Not 30 second showers either, nice moderate to heavy rain. Soaking rains. It's raining raining ght now!

Probably not the best for the ol' farmers, but good for the wifes water bill. I don't think she's had the sprinkler system running all season. Which says a lot.. She loves her lawn. She'd rather die of dehydration then let her grass fry. Priorities and all.
