The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

someone gimmie a hammer to throw!!!!!

What's going to happen is...

During a massive battle scene involving Wraith, Kara, Rose, Ceri, and everyone else against a super badass enemy, Thor is going to whip out Mjolnir and shout:

STOP!!

It's Hammer Time!!!

(Oh God I'm sooooo sorry!)

Ok, so I am soooooo glad to have finally introduced Beast Boy... Once he gets to Dale and maybe Jamie if he isn't too busy, he will relate his whole tale....

I can't remember... Did I ever post pics of my Beast Boy??? I know I meant to a week or two ago....

Like IC pics?

No, not a one.

Of course it would then fall to Rose to break out "Ice, Ice, Baby."

Not that she'd feel like she was "Under Pressure," or anything.

(I always reallyreallyreally liked the "'Tis ON!" battlecry from "Thor: Vikings."

Y'know, "it's on," in Jacobean-ish?

That just tickles me.)

Believe me, writing Thor's dialogue is not easy.

I've got a whole monologue prepared for his intro to Ceri, Jamie, and the rest.

Fortunately, I've got tons of reference material.

And there's that one Big Book that really helps out alot ;).

It's good to have reference material! :: nodnod ::

Especially when that reference material includes a really really Good Book.

I hope that Ceri's greeting to Thor is equally impressive.

By the way?

:: grins :: I thought for sure, when J'onn started gabbing with GLs to get Raya and Var-Sen a slice of home, that you were going to have them settle on Mogo. Lord, I was giddy.

But naming their own world?

That's a lovely thing, too. That's... that's just splendid.

How about they name it "Houston".

Planet Houston.

And I'm glad to see you remembered your Charlemagne. ;)

On Planet Houston, they are accustomed to worshiping things that fly.

And, hey, yeah, Charlie and I go way back. :D

IC timecheck? How much time has passed? There's a group in the air enroute from China:).

*scratches head*

You know... I keep forgetting to keep track of how much time has passed. I'd say times starting to creep on towards the late afternoon or evening.

The number 9 hours is starting to slip into my head. Let me know when those are up.;)

I dug a copy of this out of the depths of my hard drive a bit ago. I had forgotten about it, but this is one of the coolest fan-mades I've seen. I think it really captures the spirit of both heroes and their relationship. I'm sure you've all probably seen it before, and it's no wonder I was able to find it on Youtube.

The World's Finest

I'm sure Batman: Dead End and Grayson are on Youtube also. If you haven't seen either, they are both worth watching.

It still feels to me like it's morningy-time.

Maybe we can do a small time-skip?

Depends how things go with Doctor Blake and such.

I'm really itching to get that plane on the ground, too. If for no other reason than I'll get to write Jamie and John in the same scene together. I mean, sure, there's other reasons.

For one thing, I miss Diana. :(

I was guessing at the speeds that plane travels about 7 hours counting a refuelling stop out in international waters (Reserach ship, very hush-hush)

So 7 hours to El Paso. Brief stop to pick everyone up. Two more hours after that to Smallville?

Unless we travel by teleporter or Boom Room and leave the plane in Texas?

I  Rose's dad!

I dunno.

He seems to talk an awful lot. :: scratches her head, but grins ::

He's a lot of fun to write. I keep crossing my fingers and praying that he's as much fun for you guys to read as he is to write.

With that in mind, Lunar, should Jamie go ahead and explain his madman non sequitur or should he stop his gob now that McNichol's made his Nelwyn presence known once more?
