The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

i tried Once Upon a Time, couldn't get into it.

Grimm is much edgier

& on the Grimm note, check THIS out.

JEREMY RENNER IS MY HERO.

Yeah, Grimm seems to be for dudes, ish, and OUAT seems to be for chicas, ish.

But at the end of the season, there is a castle stormed and a fight with a dragon and I bet it would rock your socks off.

speaking of dragons....

I participated in the Reaper Miniatures Kickstarter that happened last month.

Come March or April I am going to have some wicked cool Dragons to paint!!

plus a bunch more stuff. not bad for $267.00. thats about 700 bucks worth of mini's.

So I'm trying to come up with a title for our new story. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I just saw the phrase "Breaking Atmo," that's pretty bad-ass.

"System Down."

"No Place I Can Be."

"Under a Blue Sun."

"Lost in The Black."

"Powers in The 'Verse."

"Deifying Gravity." (Either "Defying" or "Deifying," I dunno.)

"Wheel Never Stops Turning."

...that's not bad at all! I mean, I can't paint tiny stuff for crap, but that's some keen gear!

Riders in the Verse.

hell, with me growing up on Louis L'Amour novels you's think I could come up with a sci-fi western title.

If anyone's interested I'll need a brother for one of my characters. She'll be the cap'n, so he's essentially her second-in-command.

Trying to make sure my Reader character isn't a complete rip-off of River.

I think she'll be almost entirely nonverbal, save for a few clipped phrases, single-word to three-word sentences tops.

Yes, she's good at violence, at calculating angles, at "doing the math." But she's not good with people, just like she's not good with words.

She doesn't like guns; they jangle her senses. (Damaged reality matrix equals autism-esque sensory issues, right?)

And her "reading" isn't as complete as River's. She doesn't get words or pictures or sensations-- she can read a person's surface physical memory, so she knows what their next move is before they do, but she can't actually read thoughts.

Kind of inspired by Cassandra Cain as much as River Tam.

Any good?

Ok, I got 2 ideas whirling around in my head. The first is a Zen mechanic (he's a monk sent out by his Master to wander the Verse to learn more of himself) or a ex-bodyguard who's in deep with the wrong crowd & has fallen on hard times.

What y'all think? I'm more leaning to the mechanic.

My opinion is Zen mechanic. Mostly because I love you with Zen and machines, but also because Ahren is thinking about a bounty hunter type and we don't wanna be *too* muscle-heavy.

...right?
