I was 'forced' to learn Latin. I can noodle my way through spanish and italian when reading. French gets confusing with too many letter combinations that are silent or pronounced unexpectedly. Germanic languages are easy because once you identify the root word just hang on for the ride, they simply keep smashing more words together to make a new word. Eastern european languages baffle me.

It’s never to late to learn and it’s not terribly difficult to pick up on Spanish Liz. Being from the southwest can also give you a leg up in learning too lol.
