The Library (closed)

Lily smiled and bit her lip, flushing at the compliment. "I know how you feel," she answered softly. She hadn't ever been around the world, but she understood. She knew what it was like to feel like there was no place or time she'd rather be than with him.

She shifted her position so that she was straddling his lap, looking into his eyes. She wanted to express her feelings now, because while she was glad that she told him she loved him, she'd said it in the throws of orgasm. She wanted to say it now, while she was clear-headed, so he'd know she meant it. And so, she kissed him softly, smiling shyly, and whispered, "I love you, Andrew. More than anything."

"I love you" He said breathing the words with such loving reverence that there could be no doubt. His hands ran up and down her legs and he leaned in kissing her softly but deeply as his hands found her ass.

"I love you i love you i love you" He whispered against her lips saying it the same way each time He pulled her closer shivering at the electric feeling of the two of them pressed so closely together. He locked eyes with her intent on showing her just how much he had fallen in love with her.

There love made no sense or else it didn't if you weren't a romantic like him, but at the same time he knew it to be true it burned inside of him like a hot coal scalding him while at the same time pulsating with delicious heat.

She smiled, her smile growing wider and wider each time he said he loved her. She pressed her body eagerly against his, wondering at how this was possible.

"Everyone would say we're crazy," she observed softly. "That we can't be in love. It hasn't been long enough. It's just not possible. But it is because I know how I feel, and I know how you feel and... I can't believe how lucky I am to have found you!" She pressed another firm kiss to his lips, then pulled back, biting her lip shyly as she started to grind her hips slowly down over his. Clearly, she was ready to go again.

"The feelings i feel for you are to strong to be any thing but love" He whispered huskily as he leaned in to kiss her once more "I need you and crave you cant imagine my life without you! There isn't any way that cant be love" He said groaning when he felt her hips beginning to move.

"I cant get enough of you either" He said leaning in kissing her roughly as he picked her up thrusting his hard bulge against her aggressively "oh fuck no no i cant" he said panting and moaning loudly

His reaction made her body ignite with passion, and she took him into her again without a moment to lose.

They spent the entire rest of the day making love. Over and over, waiting only long enough between bouts of sex to eat and sleep as they needed to. Lily had never experienced such bliss. She almost never left his arms, even when they were just resting. And while they waited to regain their energy, they talked - about their lives, about books, about the things that mattered to them. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, the more she learned about him, the more she fell in love with him.

When they weren't talking about each other, they took to reading to each other in between sessions of lovemaking. Once, Lily was sprawled across the couch, completely naked, her eyes closed with her head pillowed on Andrew's thigh while he read to her from one of his favourite novels - one which, as it happened, hadn't actually been published yet. She was enjoying it immensely, but she was becoming slowly more aware of her arousal growing - again - and her eyes slipped open. She spotted his cock, still soft from their last bout, and she smiled.

Without a word, she leaned forward and ran her tongue up the length. She smiled at the sound he made, and looked up at him. "Keep reading," she purred. "I want to play a game. See how much you can read without getting... distracted..."

What followed next was bliss

A bliss the young man out of time hadnt known in his life. Taken at a young age and raised by a "building" meant his life before her was partly devoid of romance and love. Sure once he turned eighteen the library had no trouble letting him experience... adult books and situations and he was by no means a virgin but he had never experienced passion like this. They spent ever minute together in each others arms making love and or just being intimate. He took her in every way he could matching her newfound sexual appetite with his own. When they werent love making they were learning about each other falling more and more in love.

In short it was perfect

He moaned when she took his cock into her mouth shifting his hips to give her better access. Even though they were together a few hours ago his cock eagerly jumped at her mouth thickening as he stuttered and tried to read. It was a good book but suddenly it was the most boring thing he had ever laid eyes on. He still attempted however threading his fingers in her hair and pumping her mouth up and down on his fully hard cock as he attempted to read.

Lily found herself smiling, even as she took more of his length into her mouth. She spent the next little while teasing him - sucking and licking enough to make sure he was distracted, but never quite enough for him to stop reading. At least, not until his frustration took over and he put the book down anyway.

Once that happened, she climbed up onto his lap and they made love yet again. It was so for the entire weekend. Over and over, never tiring of each other.

But, as the weekend wore on, Lily found herself dreading the coming separation. She couldn't stand the idea of wasting a single moment with him, and so, despite being exhausted, she found herself awake at 1am on Monday morning, trying to savour as much of the time they had left as possible.

They were in bed together, but she wasn't asleep, and if the rhythm of his breathing was anything to go by, neither was he. "Andrew?" she asked softly, lifting her head from his shoulder to look down at him. "Are you awake?"

Today was the day

He knew the library was being kind... giving him as much time before they had to go. The link they had mentally was enough for him to hear the small groaning inside of the house. It wasn't noticeable to any one else but he could tell the house was in pain struggling to keep itself rooted so firmly in this time frame.

In truth this was the longest they had ever spent in one time and place, usually their trips were one or three days with the intent being clear that he would disappear with the library. Not that he had ever not been back in time (even if it meant running). Then they would get sent scattering through time and place once more.

Andrew wasnt sure why the rules were set up in such a way. He just knew the library and to an extension him followed them. He was the keeper the library the treasure and they couldnt take any more passengers.

"Yes" he said his eyes opening the minute he heard her voice "how could i sleep?" He said softly picking himself up gently touching her cheek before looking out the window.

"only a few more hours left" he said holding her hand gently "I cant believe it" he said softly his voice tinged with sadness.

Lily gripped his hand tightly. She hated seeing him upset - it just made this whole situation that much worse. "I wish I could stay. I want to. I want to stay here with you..." But she couldn't. She had school, she had a life to return to.

There was a long silence, and then the sound of a quiet sob. Lily couldn't hold it back anymore - she was crying. She didn't want to leave him, not when she wasn't sure when she'd be able to see him again. "You'll come back, right?" she asked softly, slipping her arms tight around his torso.

"I think so" He said capturing her face in his hands and leaning in to kiss her deeply "I think the library will be kind in that regard" he said glancing up at it and sighing before looking at her.

"Look Lily i dont know how long it will take for me to get back here promise me if some one comes along some one better or some one you could love that you give them a chance dont wait for me forever" he said leaning in giving her a soft kiss before he got up.

"Its itme to go" he said though he didnt know how he knew

but he did

Lily wiped her eyes, her heart breaking slowly in her chest. "I'll miss you," she whispered, ignoring his request that she try to find someone else. She couldn't stand the thought of replacing him. She'd never met anyone like him before, and her instincts told her there wouldn't be anyone like him again.

It took her an hour longer to leave than it should have, because once she was dressed and ready to go, she couldn't bring herself to actually step out the door. She held him tight and kissed him furiously, promising herself that it would be only one more kiss before she left. But once she got her one more kiss, she couldn't bring herself to part from him yet. "I'm sorry," she breathed finally. "I need to go, or I'll never leave." She wanted to. Part of her wanted to stay, to give herself to the library the way he had and join him forever. "I love you. I always will. I'll wait for you to come back," she promised, and with that, she stepped outside.

The instant she was out of the door, the library disappeared. A gust of wind pushed her a few steps across the sidewalk, and when she turned, she found that the space was just an empty lot once again. It hurt less than she expected, actually, since she found immense comfort in the idea that he'd be back. She could wait, if that was what it took. She'd wait as long as she needed to.

A FEW MONTHS LATER

HER TIME

ONE YEAR HIS

It happened unexpectantly

It was its own torture in a way not knowing WHEN he would go back to her just that he would. For the first few months he didnt expect to go back since it was so soon and since he knew the library wouldnt be that kind. Yet once the first three months passed he would begin to think maybe maybe their next trip would take him back to her. He would run down the stairs as if he was a kid again and it was christmas and rush to the doors opening them and stepping out to see where he was.

He was never where he wanted to be though

Even so he still SAW her even if she didnt know him at the time. Whenever they landed on recent earth he would run to the nearest internet place and pay the money to find her. He saw her at all stages of her life from teenage to graduation and tracked her as best he could given where he was and when he was.

But it wasnt the same

He waited not asking the library who was his silent companion. He had his adventures in time and space and even helped a few lost souls like he did with her but he never wavered and got with any one but her. He instead spent his time managing his library and thinking of her whenever he could.

Which was all the time

One day he awoke and sat up some how knowing where he was, that he was back. He all but flung the covers off of him not bothering to put on clothes as he rushed to the door in his boxers. He reached the door and pulled it up blinking in the sunlight as the familiar sight hit him.

HE WAS BACK

Lily had entered her final year of university - finally! - and so, with that to distract her from how much she missed Andrew, she threw herself into her final year project with incredible focus.

She still lived with Megan, who, now, was actually in a long-term relationship with the guy who had driven her out of the house on Valentine's Day. It was easier to see them now, knowing that Andrew would be back eventually. Megan, of course, knew that Lily was in some kind of relationship, but since Lily wouldn't tell her anything about it, she became convinced that Lily was sleeping with one of her teachers, and teased her about it all the time.

It was actually growing close to Hallowe'en again, and Lily was getting excited. The last two times that Andrew had been here, it had been on a holiday. She had to wonder if maybe there was something about those days that drew the library here. She knew she shouldn't get her hopes up, but she also knew that she couldn't help herself. He was coming back eventually, so why not on Hallowe'en?

This year, it fell on a Saturday, so early in the morning, Lily went out to "get some more candy" in case some extra kids came to the door, and she went for a roundabout walk that took her near the empty lot. She held her breath as she turned the corner, and when it was there, finally, with Andrew standing at the door in just his boxers as if he were waiting for her, she let out a bright, joyful laugh and ran, full tilt, down the sidewalk, up the stairs, and straight into his arms.

"I missed you!" She threw her arms around his neck, her body colliding with his and sending him stumbling back into the library. She peppered his face with kisses, all the while repeating about how she'd missed him and how she loved him. When she finally calmed, she took his face between her hands so she could look him in the eye, and smiled. "You're here."

"Why yes" he said laughing and watching as the library doors closed behind her

"yes i am" He said leaning in and kissing her deeply before pulling away. He got up lifting her up and spinning her before setting her down and giving her a deep kiss.

"And i missed you to" he said reaching out and stroking her hair with his hand before stepping back "you havent changed much" he said relief filling his face as he took her hand "how long as it been for you?" He asked unable to hide his curiosity. He pulled her by her hand to the couch sitting her down on it before joining and pulling her into his lap.

"Its been about a year for me" he said leaning in nuzzling her neck and breathing it in as he showered it with kisses "god have i missed you my love" he said breathing into her neck and sighing in pleasure.

Lily following him willingly, eagerly even, to the couch and nuzzled close once he pulled her into his lap. "It's been, um...." she paused, counting the months on her fingers. "7 and a half months." He was right, though, she hadn't changed much. Her glasses were new and her hair was a bit longer, but other than that, she was mostly the same.

There was, however, one large difference that hadn't yet occurred to her, and that he wouldn't see. She'd gotten ill over the summer - nothing terribly serious, but the medications were of a sort that increased the risk of blood clots. General medical wisdom says it's unhealthy to take those kinds of medications alongside birth control, so she'd stopped taking it. And she hadn't started again since. But it was something she was so unaccustomed to considering - since she hadn't really been the sort to sleep around to begin with, and the birth control pills were primarily being taken for hormonal reasons rather than to prevent pregnancy to begin with - it simply never occurred to her that she was no longer protected.

So, instead of concerning herself about that, she smiled and kissed him. "What have you been doing for the past year?" she asked, curiosity burning in her voice. "Tell me everything."

He laughed shaking his head leaning back and pulling her into his lap

"Where have I been?" he said snorting and shaking his head "you sure you want to hear about my boring adventures?" He asked her laughing before he decided to let her know.

And so he told her spending an hour letting her know osme of his adventures over the time they were apart. He told her about his visit to the future, and to the past, he told her about running from the horde of criminals two centuries form this time but mostly he talked about how much he missed her until he was kissing her and his tongue sliding into her mouth.

"I love you" he whispered

She listened, utterly enraptured, to his stories, and found her heart aching with the desire to join him on his adventures. But, soon, he was kissing her and all thoughts but those of feeling his skin on hers flew from her mind.

She shifted her position until she was sitting straddling his lap. She broke the kiss only just long enough to pull her shirt off over her head, her bra following in short order, leaving her shirtless in his lap. "I love you, too," she whispered in response, pulling him close and pressing her bare chest to his as she began to trail kisses and little nips over his neck and shoulder.
