Damaging your head won't help, love...I don't wanna see you in my OR with head trauma...can I help?

No...I have a story I need to start...a story I need to write...and an SRP post for my character January that I have no fucking clue what to do with.

It'll come in time, gorgeous. You're a brilliant writer. Your mind won't stay quiet for long...I'm on the other end of the spectrum....too many ideas and no outlet...I've no doubt you'll find the path...

walks in looking both tired and freshly-showered, and clutching a well-deserved beer

First 10k run since the injury.

Fuck, yeah.

Wow! Well done!

grins

I'm desperate to get back on my bike...but I think I might have to wait a month for 'Spring'.

I'm very much looking forward to the challenge of doing it. I love challenging myself.

Moi? But I'm...Oh, fuck it. Yes. I am.

Challenges are most satisfying.

Like the challenge of reading this next chapter after reading that damn post.

Thank you, oh pretty Witch. Yes, it's not exactly spring here, either, for all that the weathermen say that technically, it is. This was a treadmill 10k, which isn't as good as the real thing, but is way better than nothing. In another month or so, it should be consistently warm enough to run outside, but since it was snowing today, I decided that inside might be a better plan.

Oh, by 'Spring' I meant temperatures above -20C so cycling will be doable

winks

We'll have snow til the end of April. We might see grass in May.

I think that sounds like an excellent plan. And I cycle to work all year round but am out of practice so need the temperatures to come up a shade so I'll be able to do a fair run without...y'know...collapsing.

Ok, I'm an ignorant American, but even I know that -20C is pretty damned cold. I hope you have a good face mask for riding in that sort of weather. It would be a crying shame if you lost that cute nose to frostbite!

blushes

A scarf is usually enough..well, it's saved my nose for the last 9 winters at any rate.

grins

But you're right. It is pretty damned cold. I believe in your American fahrenheit it's about -5 or something.

winks

Peeks in, laptop presse to her chest, her arms wrapped around it, book resting on top of it. She makes her way to the couch and gently lays her things next to her.

I baked more today! I don't think I've made as many hamentashen in my life as I've made this week.

dives, snatches, making most of their books spill to the floor. Snugs!

'tashen 'tashen.

I wish I agreed with your assessment on the first, but yes, death by Vivi would be delicious

I understand...feel the same way about my writing...but I'll tell you that I think your writing is good. And I know I'm not the only one. :) I know it doesn't help much, but maybe a little.

Hey there, Lily. What's with the laptop and book?
