Hello, people. I looked away to read a couple of threads and all of a sudden, it's alive in here.

It's alive!

Bonsoir Monsieur Chat.

It has... I'm mostly moved. Boxes are still everywhere and I'm too lazy to really go through all of them. I have the main things out and about, so that's good enough to me. Although I can't find my laptop power cord and I'm still waiting to get my Internet going. The idiots were suppose to be here today but nope.

I did find my alcohol though... So this place is livable. *grins sipping the Redbull and vodka*

Ah, the essentials!

*swipes drink and takes a small sip before handing it back*

Lays down on the couch, curling up in a blanket and closes her eyes sleepily.

*utters a soft hello to the sleepy one*

Comes in, grinning

I love it when it just turns out to be an awesome day, even if it starts poorly.

Just goes to show you what is important, and what isn't.

Comes to with a little sigh

I have~
Spoken to my child's school.
Spoken to the hospital.
Spoken to the mental health facility.
I am worn out, teary eyed, fucked up and feeling like a fucking failure.

takes ALL the hugs and wraps them around me like a warm blanket.

Someone please tell me that i do not suck as a mom.

Luna, my wife and I have gone through something similar to what you have from the looks of it. But we've been through it twice. Come out of it feeling exactly like you, and have asked ourselves the same question quite a few times.

We came to the same answer every single time.

We don't suck at being parents. We've been handed to rather unique boys, who are really gifted in different ways, but both sharing incredibly fertile and active imaginations. They are the most warm and loving kids too, when they feel that love within them.

I don't know the reasons behind your questioning, but Luna, from what I have seen of you, to say that you suck as a mother would be completely, and utterly wrong.

Every child is different, which is why there is no instruction manual to be handed out, and that's also why at times, we can feel like we're the worst parents in the world. But, we're not.

It feels bad now, but it will get better Luna. Been there twice, and twice is has gone from crap to better.

* lots of hugs for the Mum in need *

Doesn't know who to react to and is too sleepy to think about it. Grumbles about her back instead.

Mmhmm... I would hate this place without my bottles... They complete it. Even if I don't really drink... I like having a full cabinet.

Hey!! *hides her drink* Mine...

*Gestures in her direction, a small heating pad appearing beneath sore and achy muscles, turned to a comfortable temperature*

Hey!! *hides her drink* Mine...

I need to buy more. Luckily here in this place I'm never far from a drink.

*Reaches down beside his recliner, plucking a stout ceramic jug from its resting place. The stopper for this one is made of wax, making a resounding pop as it comes free. A slow drink is taken, then the stopper is replaced*

*eyes roam the bottle suspiciously, brow perking slightly before shrugging* Yeah... I just realizing I'm out of Jack, Amaretto, and low on Morgan! So payday will come with a trip to Idaho... That's for sure!

Thanks, Magical Mister Mistoffelees.

I swear, this fitness shit is killing me.

I don't even know why my back hurts. It just hates me.

Gets up, grab a piece if paper, a Tess, a Dream and a Tigress, and drags them all the the couch, and creates a cuddle pile. She joins and snuggles, writing "Girls Only" on the paper and sticking it where it will be seen.

Curls up in the floor beside Lily...unable to keep her eyes open either...

It's Mephis...ah, fuck it. You're welcome.

*chuckles at the hand-written sign and clicks the recliner to full lounge mode*

Shh! Don't remind me! I have been getting some post done, but I can't post them.

Why can't you post it dear one?

Thanks, Magical Mister Mistoffelees.

You are so cute.

Try Watermelon Snapps. It's really yummy mixed with 7-up or just straight. Not extremely alcoholic but still quite yummy. Umm Southern Comfort is always yummy. Or Wild Turkey. Or strawberry Parrots Bay, again not super alcoholic but mix it with with whip cream Vodka and its delicious.

*is dragged into the female cuddle pile, snuggling up to Tess and Lily*
