Oh, for a civilized state where you could buy liquor at the grocery store.

We sell liquor in stores here. Pretty much any big name grocery store has alcohol, Walmart, Safeway, Alberstons... Etc. But! This state as a crazy high tax for alcohol so I go to the next state for booze.

Oh and we really don't have any state owned store. The state auctioned them off so it's all privately owned.

I call it the state store, but it's actually inside the grocery store. Force of habit, I suppose.

Try Watermelon Snapps. It's really yummy mixed with 7-up or just straight. Not extremely alcoholic but still quite yummy. Umm Southern Comfort is always yummy. Or Wild Turkey. Or strawberry Parrots Bay, again not super alcoholic but mix it with with whip cream Vodka and its delicious.

Not much for the fruity drinks, but I am trying to branch out. I'll have to see what catches my eye.

I've seen it near where I live, and we have somewhat restrictive alcohol laws, so you should probably be able to find it where you are.

It's usually labeled as either Kirsch or Kirschwasser. About 40% ABV.
