It was very good, E. I needed the respite from my life and was so happy to spend the time with her. I don't come to Lit very often any more.

A one shouldered shrug.

If it weren't for a few very special co-writers and dear friends, I don't think I'd ever come back.

I shake my head.

"I've certainly been better. Sick as a dog currently. Started a few days ago waking up hacking up read stuff. Its receded to general sickness since, but I'm still not happy. Shouldn't be virulent enough for electronic transfer though."

I nod thoughtfully as if I had worked hard at some point to reach that conclusion.

"Got really drunk for the first time last night. I do drink on occasion, but never enough to even reach particularly tipsy, but work has been particularly stupid lately. Lost paperwork on the management's end is going to mean some painful work for me coming up. Oddly enough though, despite all this, life hasn't been too bad really."

Fun fact, rum soaked cherries are delicious. I was more than a little tipsy and I kind of doubt you wanted to be there. It was mostly me comparing being drunk to slow internet and vomiting. As for work being ridiculous I've kind of come to accept it, I just needed an irrational response to it for a night and I didn't work today.

I should be less sick soon and have some vacation time coming up, so that will alleviate work stress.

I'm fine.
