I have not been awake terribly long, but I've got a good cup of tea and good music flowing through the speakers, and it seems the sun is out, which is always good.

Hehe. The sun is out here, too. But I think I won't get to see much of it today. Which makes me sad face...I want it to be like 80 degrees out so I can just....lay in the sun...a tan is a nice side bonus, but I really just want the warm lol

I just want to be able to open my windows. I'm pretty much eternally doomed to be ghost-like in my overwhelming whiteness, but a nice breeze moving through the house doesn't seem like it'd be too much to ask for. You'd think, living in the south, that'd be easier to come by than it's been lately.

lol , thanks for the laugh i dont know if you have ever heard a canadian goose, but they have a distinct sound. fyi they are nasty fuckers as i found one spring when one grabbed my daughter by her coat and she freaked out. i went all mama wolf on the thing and kicked it and then grabbed her and ran like my arse was on fire. lol

I've been around Canadian Geese, but it was years ago, so I don't remotely remember how they sound. But I think geese in general can be assholes. One just up and bit my sister on the ass when we were little.

I may still occasionally laugh about that.

in mid winter here it gets down to anywhere from -25c to -35c, then you add the windchill and it can be colder than -40c

I've only been in the south for a bit, and it's kind of surprised me the way I've missed winter given how angry a cold blast of air in the face makes me. Plus, I think my sensibilities are just more "northern" anyway. I don't quite fit in down here, with my Darwin fish on my car and my atheist liberal socialist feminist ways.

Also, humidity kind of sucks in the summer.
