Raven hops in window looks around. Sneek in to kitchen grabs hidden slip-n-slide. Places's it where puddle use to be. secures it with doube sided tape. Wets it down. Practices inosent look.

Good afternoon/evening people. I hope things are going well with everyone. Nods.

Pours himself another glass of water and settles in to get started on his threads.

*flashes in to hug Noon from behind with a whispered...*

Thank you for the hug...

Smiles and leans into the hug slightly and turns, nodding at her with a wink. Any time, darlin'.

I very well recognized the sentiment
Smirks. Hope you are doing well.

Caches the smirk and winks at her her playfully, nodding.

catches this wink and so ruffles his hair as she passes by.

A bit, yeah. How's yours?
As she slides by, giving his hair a ruffle, he can't help but reach out and drag his hand against her thigh teasingly, then reaches back to straighten out his hair after she walks past. It's been a very good day, actually, thanks very much. I'm doing well, and working on my writing.

Nods. Better than yesterday, certainly. Admires her ass as she walks away.

Hey, pretty lady.

Teddy is on the loose!

blushes at the caress but laughs at the hair straightening, glancing back over her shoulder as she walks to get a drink of water.

Glad to hear it! And writing - I should be writing my librarian post, I've got the music for it and I figured out my library picture. Just your resident book nerd, I guess.

takes a drink and watches him over the glass rim.

But happy to hear today is better, for sure. How are your posts coming along?

So will shadows....soon enough. Pretty sure I have a direction now. Yay for inspiration....still don't expect it for several days....I have a busy weekend, but I might work on it tomorrow, if the image grows clear enough.

Chuckles, catching sight of the blush, but smiling all the same as he watches her. Well I have to like book nerds very much. So I'm glad to hear that you've gotten things figured out for your library post. He gives her a wink as she looks at him over the rim of her glass, watching her back. He resists the urge to mimic her, even though he wants to grab his own glass to take a sip.

Well, I have one post I'm working on, but it keeps getting longer and longer. Longer than necessary. I'm just trying to make sure and include some specific setting details, just to get them in place so I don't have to drop those ideas later. But I can overdo it sometimes-I like to randomly assign names to ancillary characters which I expect to have no bearing on the story. Grins at her and glaces at his post. But it's good to know what I want to write.

I'm very excited to see what Jessie is like. That tattoo is fantastic... her whole demeanor will just be a good read and I know you'll do it wonderfully. Whoo!

smiles beatifically as she sets down the glass.

Well, I have my Athenaeum and now the school library, so I'm turning into the book girl. Let me know if you ever are looking for random literary facts... My head is full of them.

hoists herself up onto the counter and clasps her hands in her lap lightly.

As for long posts, you won't hear any complaints from me. I hear that mine are quite long. I try to be succinct but I fall victim to addressing every point, on occasion. I'm sure the ones I'm currently working on will turn out to be overdone or too lengthy.

sighs but the smile remains.

What's your favorite thread that you've written, or do you have one?

Doing alright, Thank you.

(nods to Ivory)

Glad to hear it! :)

In that case I just say your an ok writer.
Got to say Guy is one of my favorite male writers. I enjoy his style and seeing where his threads take you.
But if I had to pay the read Brit of Thyri's work, I would so be working overtime right now.

Raven, thank you, what a nice thing to say. It really made me feel good today.

One more day for me! I get three whole days off!!

...of which I pay for dearly later...I think my boss is punishing me because HE forgot I requested off like 2 months ago...

Well hopefully he will not be able to do much on your last day this week, and then will forget about it by the time you come back.

Nods, watching her as she hops up onto the counter, his eyes sliding down to glance at her legs and then back up to her face. He keeps a smirk on his face. Well I promise to keep that mind, if I have book questions. But I have a few of my own literary references that I'm comfortable using. If I need to borrow anything, though, he narrows his eyes at her playfully, I'll be sure to let you know.

And I'm sure it won't be overdone. I've found your writing to be generally enjoyable, from what I'm read of your posts. But a favorite thread of mine?
Ponders. I don't know that I have a favorite. I have a few old favorites posted. There were some other stories I was writing that would have been awesome if they had lasted long enough. Sadly, some of my favorites have gotten cut short.

That's what's embittered me about group threads, to some extent. We were going to do this George R. R. Martin group thread a while back. We had 8 fantastic authors. I had a detailed character sheet, I had extensive notes about background information relating to my character, and relating to ancillary characters connected to him. I had a short biography of his father in my notes, I'd named his horse, and I had an extensive psychological motivation for him. And I probably only got three posts finished before that thread died.
Laughs bitterly. But if you want to read some of my old threads, they're available for perusing. Nods.
