The Manor

Oli slipped off the bus last, taking a final drag from his cigarette before scraping it against the side of the bus to knock off the cherry. His classic Chucks carried him around to the back of the bus where he retrieved his duffle, slinging it over his shoulder with a little grunt before following after the rest of the group. The cherriless cigarette was discarded in the nearest wastebasket before finally catching up with the group at the freight elevator.

Half tempted to spout off a "I'm Dan and I've got a head on my staff..", Oli just repressed the urge, only smiling up at the lady pleasantly.

The gothic looking girl slouched along with the group with her Happy Bunny backpack and iPod glued to her ears and wisps of the White Stripes leaking out.

"I'm Dan Daugherty, and I'm not head of staff anywhere."

"Hopefully you'll complete your education and find rewarding work somewhere." Mrs. Beck said, and then sniffed as Oli entered the enclosed space. "You do recall there's no smoking in the building, however, the cook has made a pleasant little area outside of the kitchen." She nodded further down the hallway.

Elliot

"Here, let me help you with that." Elliot offered Lilah as he closed his lap top, slinging it back over his shoulder using the custom strap he had attached to it.

He held his hands out toward Lilah, to accept anything she was willing to let him carry for her, saying. "Don't worry Janet, I'll protect you." with a grin.

Hearing the woman, Mrs. Beck, introcuce herself, Elliot slid next to Lilah, with a friendly nudge. "What do you think, Mrs. Beck, with the candle stick, in the billiard room?"

And that brow of his arched upward, his eyes focusing in on the woman. "Yeah.. No smoking in the building.." He was tempted to add "Which is why I put the cigarette out before I came in, or should I have just brought it with me so you could remind me of the rules I already know?" Oh, he was in a fiesty mood for some odd reason.

"I think it was the lead pipe... those things will kill you two ways." she says and giggles.
"She looks like the type to go for brute force though...." she says in a whisper she says as she moves one hand so he can take the other handle of her trunk.

"Whats the second way?" Elliot asked, innocent to her line of thinking reguarding the lead pipe. "Brute force? She'd probably prefer the wrench then... It has real heft to it..." Elliot added as he grabbed the handle of her trunk, promptly stumbling forward as he completely misjudged its weight. "Wha!" He exclaimed in surprise as he stalled it before it thumped upon the ground, drawing unwanted attention to himself. He instantly turned red with embarasment. "Heh, sorry, failed my strength check..." He said as he lifted the trunk again. "And maybe lost a point or two of charisma too..." He thought as he started to walk toward the manor with the trunk.

"I'm sure it's only a temporary loss..." She says and giggles slightly and adjusts the bag on her back.
"Don't worry, nothing in there I haven't dropped before."
"Well if you use it in your piping you'll get lead poisoning... but that would take too long for most." She says and shrugs

Elliot

"Yeah, I'm sure I'll sleep it off in a few nights. Damn d20 system anyway." Elliot said, not realizing Lilah had some how responded to his thoughts. "I'll be more careful though, don't want to wear down any of your stuff's duribility to the point that it breaks."

He did realize, however, how Lilah was replying to the things he said in a reverse order, the last thing first and the first thing last, much like the format programers use. He thought about it for a moment, then asked. "Do you know much about computer programing?"

Mrs. Beck looked down the hall impatiently, waiting for the others. The house seem to swallow the sounds of their chatting and the late spring sunshine poured in the windows, giving almost everything a golden glow.

One of the maids came by, a pretty little thing with a red French braid.

"Guide the others will you? I'll take these up." Mrs. Beck said and hit the S button.

((Sorry about that.... I was really really tired when I responded. I should of waited till when I wasn't about to fall asleep. xD))

"Ahh... repair bill shouldn't be that high, it's just cloth." She says and laughs slightly.
"Ehh... No not really..."

"Oh, okay, well, I still promise not to mess it up any more than I have already. Darn, I was hoping to talk c++ with you... Oh well... Do you speak Klingon?" He asked as he followed behind the woman leading them to their rooms.

The third floor was tidy and neat and utilitarian. There were small rooms with a twin bed in each, a desk, and a small closet. Between each set of rooms was a small joining bath with a toilet and a sink.

"At the end of the hall are the shower rooms." Mrs. Beck pointed. "And there's a common room in the middle with a microwave, tv and such. You can take any open room."

The small windows looked out to a lovely roof top view of....roofs.

Dan walked out of the elevator and took the room nearest the showers. "Nice place, i think i could use a shower." He said, moving his stuff into the comfortable room. He got his stuff unpacked and got ready to shower.

He entered the shower and turned it on, good and hot. He washed his hair and body then turned it off, drying off with a towel. He put on a pair of shorts and a sleevless t-shirt, strapping his sword onto his belt. "I think ill go do some exercises."

"Dinner will be served in twenty mintues." the housekeeper sniffed, looking at the weapon doubtfully.

The professor took the room connected to Elliot's and grinned at him.

"I know that you would have liked to share a bathroom with the hot gamer chick, but that's the way the cookie crumbles!"

"Twenty minutes? I guess ill save the exercises for after dinner. How do i get to the smoking section?" Dan asked.

"I wonder whats for dinner... Will it be bisque, or monkey brain stew? Probably bisque, because we came on a bus, not in our own vehicles. Who owns this house again Mr. Davis? It wasn't a Plunkett or a Mr. Body, was it? Ooo, cookies, I wonder if they'll serve any after dinner! In the, er... Cookie room...? Does this place have a cookie room? Its big enough, it must have a cookie room..." Elliot blinked a few times at Mr. Davis after posing his queries, waiting for his reply.

Chiara took an empty room that looked clean and well-kept enough even if a faint moldy smell could still be scented in the air. She guessed that visitors didn't come by here often. Dragging her trunk into a corner she began unpacking when she heard the call of twenty minuites to dinner. Instead she closed the door, took of her top, skirt and the rest of her clothes and wrapped a towel around her that the house staff had provided, it was white and soft but just barely large enough to cower both her bossom and behind and the same time. Tripping out trough the hall with some shower neccesitys in one hand and a change of clothes in the other she passed some of the others who had come with her on the bus. The shy boy with a passion for anything in fantasy and pop culture, the quiet smoker, the not so quiet one who for some reason had a sword with him and the chatty girl, she wondered what it would be like to get to know them.

She flashed some of them a smile as she got to the bath at the end of the hall. It seemed to be unoccupied but still wet and the mirrors foggy after the guy who obviously seemed to be enjoying his own body alot.

The bathroom was of an old Victorian or faux-Victorian style with a finely decorated tub standing on four lion-like feet in the middle with a more modern shower pole jutting up and over it. The room was dark but with an enjoyable atmosphere to it nonetheless. She showered quicky skipping the hair as it would take to long and changed into more formal wear. A long, darkgreen dress with matching slippers and a hairpin with some fake emeralds to top it off. When she was done she walked out and towards the diningroom.

Elliot

It turned out that Elliot wasn't really blinking at Mr. Davis, in wait for an answer, but was struck dumb by the sight of the girl walking down the hall, in only a towel, and a very short towel at that.

"Auntie! She foaled!" Came the shouts from the hallway. Ashlee Beck charged around the doorway towards her Aunt, skidding to a halt she stopped. Her hair a tangled mess, her clothes dirty and wrinkled. She actually smelled like the stables. Ashlee stopped dead when she saw the others with her aunt. Her eyes went wide. " Oh Heck." She whispered before looking back to her aunt who didn't look too pleased with her at the moment. Ashlee stepped back and with a nervous wave took off around the door and down the hallway.

Ashlee cussed herself out under her breath as she hurried upstairs to the bathrooms. She could kick herself in the butt for forgetting the college group was coming today. She was just so excited about Midnight having her foal. She knew her aunt was not to pleased with her at the present and sighed. She was always making her unhappy with her. Ashlee pushed open the spare room she kept clothes in and ducked into the walk in clost to find some clean clothes. She found a faded pair of jeans and a cowbly shirt, grabbing a towel she moved down the hall towards the showers.

While Elliot was still stunned by the towl clad girl, another came up the stairs. She smelled earthy, and dressed like a rustler, which was enough to trigger a not so pleasant, nay, down right embarassing reaction in Elliots shorts. He folded his hands just so, and lowered his head, and said 'Evening.' in a voice that just had to chose that moment to crack.

Ashlee stopped quickly, looking at Elliot she blushed mumbled a quick hello and entered the bathrrom. She placed her towel and clothes on the counter and stripped out of her dir ty clothes. She sighed in pleasure as the hot water chased away her aches. She washed quickly, and wrapped her hair in a towel and began to dry her body.

Elliot stumbled into his room and hid, launching into a good session of WoW. Anything to take his mind off of... Well... You know...

Ashlee dressed and started down the hallway, she heard the familiar sounds of a computer. She knocked softly and opened the door. She saw Elliot playing WoW, the only game she played online when she had time. " Umm..sorry,Didn't mean to intrude. " Ashlee rambled on as she blushed to her toes.

"You're not!" Elliot chirped as he looked over his screen. "Er, I mean, well, uh... Do you play?" He asked as he quickly logged out of his female night elf hunter.
