Hey, wait a minute, I thought I was the peeping... uh, stalker around here.
Evening Molly.![]()

I have counted 28 bug bites. I have scratches all over my person. There are so many bruises I look like a cheetah. The blisters on my hands are already hardening to calluses.
But I have all the trees down and my new garden is huge.
How is everyone?

Shall we bring you some calamine lotion?
Molly! (FLYINGTACKLEHUGGS)
I love a hard working lady.![]()
Where's a camera when you need it ?
Shall we bring you some calamine lotion?
I don't do pictures when I'm covered in filth, sweat, and ticks.
Care to apply it?
THEN I'll bring the camera; I have this new telephoto lens. . .

Smarty-pants.
Well, the dicky-birds seem to think a suitable distance away is fine. . . .
Glass of Vodka, Molly ?
That should go well with my new prescription sleep meds. It probably won't matter since the stupid things don't work anyway.![]()

Perhaps you need an old-fashioned, not to say - traditional - method.
A hot and leisurely bath, a mug-full of hot chocolate and a good book.
Among others, I'm sure there are lots of us willing to tuck you in.![]()
Ah, but that which I need is not available to an extremely married woman with an ailing husband. I have come to the conclusion that 10 years is too long a time.
I must join with those wishing him a speedy recovery then.
And offering to tuck you in does not imply any impropriety . . . this time.
Glass of something soothing, Molly ?
He's recovering. The loss of 60+ lbs has truly helped, but now he's getting too thin. His problem is all the abuse he's committed against his body. His hips, knees and back are gone. He needs a lot of surgery, but the nerve damage done to his back is the worst.
The real problem is that he believes he's disabled, and he loves how much attention he thinks he gets from it. I just roll my eyes and throw things at him. It makes me feel better.
Fingers crossed !!
Bangers & Mash tonight for him, then ?
How does one make that?

I took my camera to the National Memorial Arboretum today.
The weather was fine and the statues stood out nicely against the blue sky.
Such a pity that those remembered could not see it.
But without those to remember, there is no reason for the arboretum, right?
I've been to the Wall. One of my high school classmates is on it. It was a surprise that there was only one, considering how many of us there were, but we were a bit too early for the big push. And for that I am eternally grateful.
RIP, comrade.
