I think I need to post more so I can get back up to full membership or something. When I lost access and had to rejoin, I lost the ability to have one. No worries, though. I still have it on file come the time I reach . . . what is it? 100? 120? Does anyone know?

As for me, I'm getting by as well as can be expected. I finally got registered with the local drug store for the vaccine and now the governor has decided the state needs to set up mass injection sites. I live in a small population county, about 41,000 total. We not what you would call a mass anything.

I'm writing enough to keep my mainstream editor employed. I'm even getting some stuff done here on Lit. I've got to have fun ever so often. The coffee shop ain't making any money but it does keep some of the locals off the street and out of the cold.

It's good to keep busy. My co-author had a massive coronary, so our work is on hold until I can get him back in shape. I nearly lost him. It was awful, but he's starting to act like his old self. I really need to write but it's hard to get back into solo.

No vaccine for me, yet. Too young and healthy, I guess.

I seem to have gotten mine earlier than most because after I retired from the Reserves I went down to whine and snivel at the local VA hospital to try and get my disability increased. It worked. Now I get free hearing aids and am line in front of all the other vets except combat-incurred injuries. For them, I step aside gladly. Anyway, I hope to be clear to fly again. I have dreams of Axis deer on Maui in July.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the personalized line doesn't get personalized anymore.

My wife, being a caretaker for elderly people with dementia, got her shot last week. Some of her colleagues had scared her to death, pointing out to all the poison and the dangers of injecting with viruses, but the good news is that she's still alive. Next shot will hopefully be in two weeks time; lower-than-promised numbers of vaccines may change the schedule.

Conspiracy theorists are the bane of the species. These fool people are desperately in need of acceptance and fellow feeling so they go online and trade mindless gossip, repeating it as fact to each other because they saw it on the 'Net. QAnon-ers end up losing money, family members, even their jobs because of the blinding light of ignorance. Anti-Vaxxers are as bad. I fear for humanity. Maybe I'll just go back to the woods and eat salmon and berries!
