The nicest thing someone ever said about me was here on lit.
It was Marquis.
I can remember reading it and thinking "that was the nicest thing anyone ever said about me" but I can't remember what thread or how long ago it was and my search ability stinks. *shrug*

"I remember some time ago when I first came to lit, I was full of myself and had alot of silly notions. And those who enjoyed silly notions were easily impressed and easily fooled. But not one person. Nope, this person was in my face at every turn. She never agreed with me and never let me get away with anything till one day I had my fill of this person and turned and confronted her.
The result was like a water balloon hitting the brick wall of truth. Because you see, KC is as real as it gets. You see she turned me around and made me realize what a selfish and self centered man I really was, and that kind of man will never be a real Dom, heck or even a real man. It was through this that I learned what "real" respect was for myself and for others. I began to learn, and understand, humility.
KC, I wanted to thank you for making me a better man. I want to thank you for showing me the difference between being real and roleplaying. You changed my life at a very deep level and to this day I continue to work on being who "I" am, rather than pretending I have arrived.
Since that time, you have been gracious to me. You have been a friend to me. So thank you KC, thank you for being who you are. I am both grateful in my mind and heart for the way you have touched my life.
You are one of the most amazing persons I know and I thought now would be a good time for you to know that."
