MommaRose... Yes my icecream was good. Of course I can't just eat plain icecream. I sprinkled a little cinnamon and sugar (like it really needed that..lol) on top of it and then drizzled a little carmel over it! MMMMMMMM

Fried Twinkies
Ingredients
6 Twinkies
Popsicle sticks
4 cups vegetable oil
Flour for dusting
1 cup milk 2 tablespoons vinegar
1 Tablespoon oil
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Chill or freeze Twinkies for several hours or overnight.

2. Heat 4 cups vegetable oil in deep fryer to about 375 degrees.

3. Mix together milk, vinegar and oil.

4. In another bowl, blend flour, baking powder and salt.

5. Whisk wet ingredients into dry and continue mixing until smooth. Refrigerate while oil heats.

6. Push stick into Twinkie lengthwise, leaving about 2 inches to use as a handle, dust with flour and dip into the batter. Rotate Twinkie until batter covers it entirely.

7. Place carefully in hot oil. The Twinkie will float, so hold it under with a utensil to ensure even browning. (if your fryer has a basket you can use it to hold the twinkies down in the oil. it works great !!) It should turn golden in 3 to 4 minutes.

8. Remove Twinkie to paper towel and let drain. Remove stick and allow Twinkie to sit for about 5 minutes before serving.

I love all stuffed animals. Still a kid at heart I guess. My daughter got me this one for Christmas a couple years ago. I actually collect elephants , but anythong someone gives me is special.

We got bad weather yesterday evening not long after dropping Funone off at the airport...Was "stroking" out as he said by the time he called last night...We had to get in a basement here because of tornado warnings..It was pretty bad.

Do a search on Boyd Bears sometime on Yahoo you will see there is lots of them!! They have all different costumes and names. They have whole little families of them. Special occasion ones. There is different animals too besides bears. I have a kitten sitting on my desk now. Cute little black kitten named Sooty P. Pussyfoot.
