That's quite the slippery slope.
I do agree that Anthy, who is probably the nicest person in the AH, leans towards woke - along with many other AHers. But does that make them too biased to judge wokiness?
Maybe. Yet wouldn't the same apply to you and Kellie in the opposite sense? Just saying that the logic goes both ways.
This has always been a challenging topic for the AH, and I stand by what I said about how difficult it is to talk about these things here in a way that doesn't lead to namecalling, exactly due to the heavy bias that exists.
To be honest with you, I see maybe a few AHers in total who seem to be able to approach this subject in an objective way and who can discuss these things without falling into fire. It is what it is, and there is no changing that reality.
But my point stands that one should always be careful when talking about anyone's right to speak meaningfully about some topic.
It's interesting that you talk about denying the right to speak meaningfully about a topic, but Anthy did just that.
When you conclude your opinion about a topic by saying "and anyone who disagrees is a bad person" which is what Anthy did, you are effectively stifling debate by deligitimizing the opinion of others.
It is nothing more than a variant of calling anyone who disagrees with you racist, phobic or some other meaningless insult.
