I'm currently working on a Winter entry and I'm also getting SF ideas. I'm not sure I'll be able to get it together for a Halloween entry.

I'll try. I usually enjoy this contest.

Welp. It happened.

The Winter entry having fizzled, it's on to Halloween! Witches, this year, but it'll be an adaptation of a famous old horror poem!

I believe that's the one she killed off half the AH, but we all went down fighting.

Not an interest of mine but it piqued my curiosity. Just searching through the Fetish category with “smoking” brings up 1067 stories (searching Title and Text; searching “smoking” in tags it’s only 366. I’m guessing these are a subset of the first bunch, just not everyone uses tags). From scanning the first couple of pages of results, not quite half are “Hot” (4.5 rating or higher with at least 10 votes.)

There’s only one story in Fetish that has both “smoking” and ”Halloween” tags; 25 stories with both terms in the title and/or text.

So there is an audience for smoking fetish stories. Given I’ve not read any of them, I can’t make a statement about overlap. But go to the Search page and take a look. But, really, if you want to write it, go ahead. I doubt you’ll get massive numbers, but all you need are 25 votes to place for the contest.

Thank you... and your reason for having done them is the same as mine. To see if I can do it. I figure it will push me out of my comfort zone, make my brain think a bit more creatively, and hopefully make me better at writing.

And ... as I was heading in to work today my brain developed a story/plot. I'm actually kind of excited to see if I can pull it off. I will definitely need some help and will be reaching out to some of you.
