I hope everyone that has decided to enter has a good start on their project, my #1 is finished, it's just waiting for its final editing. My #2 refuses to end; it keeps calling out for more summertime goodness, the only thing I haven't throw at it is camping... does it want some of that? That's kind of hard to do when your FMC is handicapped.

For those of you that want to join in, there's still more than enough time; if you need an idea and you've entered the 750 Word Challenge, use one of your stories as the seed for a larger epic - you have time

"Writing sprints" sounds like an interesting concept. I'm not sure I've ever done that?

Writing sprints would be like me posting "okay 10 minute writing sprint starting at :30 (the hour will be different for all of us, but the minute is the same) so let's say it's around 8:23 there, at 8:30, you write as much as you can without editing in that ten minute window and once it's up, you come back here and you say "I wrote x amount of words" and it can take a competitive tone, but mostly it's just body doubling and it gets the words out. Then at the end of the night you have a whole pile of words for you to go forth and edit into oblivion later. Does that make sense?

It does! Sounds interesting, but it's not how I write. I've gotten about 2k leisurely words out today in between online shopping, ordering Thai food, and watching "How It's Made."

To be fair, Duleigh named me "Queen of the Darkness" and then asked me if his story should be upbeat or depressing.

That's very true, but not nearly as fun as my story is turning into (I'm working time travel into it too!)

I've got darkness like you couldn't believe! You don't spend have of your adult life preparing to wipe out all human life on the planet without a little darkness creeping out on occasion, so, I don't mind sharing
