I entered this contest last year with a surfer dude Incest Taboo story set in 1989, these type of slacker comedies popular in the late 80s and early to mid 90s.

With the story I hoped to finally make the IT crowd laugh. Did I achieve my goal? No, they remained humourless, they didn't laugh and they hated the story. One commenter described it as the stupidest story they had ever read.

I have a more simple IT cousins story planned this year.

I had almost finished two stories, including one I had almost completed for the contest last year. My brain decided, nah, time to go in a completely different direction. Hopefully, it'll get finished in time. If I'm really lucky, once I get it done, maybe I can get the one that has been on the back burner for a year complete.

My last actual submission took 9 months from concept to completion and I started the story I wish to submit for this year's Halloween contest 2 months ago.

I'm at 4,549 words for this story and chugging along. I'm trying to get words down instead of editing what I already have.

Once upon a time in 2021 I wrote a 30k story for the winter holiday contest and missed the cutoff but continued with the story. I started writing the back story of the characters and events leading up to my story, then beyond, I finished it up in April this year with a 20 piece series totaling 445K words and there's a story coming out in the summer contest that features the MMC and FMCs of that series. I leapt into a (so far) 110K fan fic and a murder mystery.

As the plot bunnies line up, the saga lives on...

ETA: Done! Submitted "My Alexander" in Mature and "The Kid From Pemaquid" in Erotic Couplings. EC is almost my least-favorite category in which to place a story, but the shoe fits in this case. So into EC it goes!

I hope everyone that has decided to enter has a good start on their project, my #1 is finished, it's just waiting for its final editing. My #2 refuses to end; it keeps calling out for more summertime goodness, the only thing I haven't throw at it is camping... does it want some of that? That's kind of hard to do when your FMC is handicapped.

Now into my third entry for this one. It's my first foray into the "Humor & Satire" category...I fear this could bomb with readers, but I'm having a lot of fun writing it, so damn the torpedoes! This and the Nude Day contest are my favourites; I'm an Aussie who loves CFNM and beach flash stories, so this is my wheelhouse. Looking forward to reading all the entries!
